Activision has released a new music video trailer for the “IX” campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII‘s “Zombies” mode, as well as announced post-launch plans for the game itself.
The music video features the song “Mad Hatter,” written by multi-platinum recording artists Avenged Sevenfold. The song is the fourth consecutive Black Ops collaboration with the band.
In the weeks following the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII, PlayStation 4 owners will have first access to new content, including new specialists, maps, and seasonal events. Activision and Treyarch are planning an active calendar of events and variety of free content across all three modes, all due out first on PlayStation 4.
Here is a preview of what is planned:
- Nuketown: This fan-favorite map returns in November in an all-new take.
- Specialists: The first of several new characters will debut in December.
- Blackout: Launch day is only the start; Blackout will continue to evolve after launch with regular map updates, expansions and new Blackout modes.
- Events: Seasonal, weekly, and time-limited events bringing new game modes and content to players.
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12.
