Recent rumours and speculations have led many to believe that Fortnite is going to exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Samsung Tab S4 for about 3 months time before being released for the rest of the Android devices. Recent news suggests that while it will be exclusive to the aforementioned devices, it only be exclusive to them for 30 days.
After those 30 days, the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S series and Note series will also get the game according to Android Headlines. This will also be a timed exclusive that will run anywhere between 30-60 days making the total length Samsung will have exclusivity around 120 days which is about 4 months. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 releasing on 24th August it’s only a matter of time before we get an official announcement since Fortnite seems to be skipping the Google Play Store and might be available only on the Samsung App Store at launch. While it might help drive up sales for Samsung devices and bring Fortnite to the Android market, it will also give Epic more time to optimize the game for a wide range of devices. However, this does mean that the game will be available sometime around November or December if the exclusivity deal is true and will leave a lot of Fortnite fans frustrated.
