Gamescom is the world’s 2nd largest gaming event with 350,000 visitors and 919 exhibitors from 54 countries attending the show in 2017 and the biggest gaming news expo of the year in Europe. In August it’s finally time again as the fair highlight of the entertainment industry attracts fans of interactive games in the halls of the Cologne. More than 800 exhibitors from all over the world present the latest trends, latest computer and video games which can be experienced at this global fest.
It’s that time of the year, where publishers will unveil their titles, E3 came in with a lot of surprises but gamescom really takes it to the next level. Gamescom being held at Cologne from 21st-25th August will lay down a pedestal for leading publishers and developers to unbind gameplays, dev talks, experience zones and much more of their launch. The gamescom week iin Cologne, bring together gamer for all over the world to give them a hand on experience of leading world titles.
We’ve piled up a list as for what to expect from leading publishers.
Ubisoft – #UbiGamescom
Ubisoft will be in attendance, with 2018 marking one of their largest line-ups and biggest presences at the show so far.
Ubisoft has recently announced their lineup ahead of the gamescom week. The following games would be available to everyone present there for a hands on experience.
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Skull & Bones
- Trials Rising
- Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
- Anno 1880
- StarLink: Battle for Atlas
“Gamescom represents a crucial step for us because it allows us to get first-hand feedback from players, which is a cornerstone of our increasingly more inclusive approach to game development,” says Alain Corre, Ubisoft’s EMEA Executive Director. “We are proud to present one of the largest and most diverse portfolios of games in the industry, which we hope will delight all types of players.”
Along with it, visitors would get a chance to put on a virtual reality headset top experience multiplayer shooter Space Junkies and psychological thriller Transference.
All of this would be available at the ubisoft booth at gamescom followed by developer talks, interviews & much more to give visitors more insight as to what Ubisoft has to offer throughout the year.
