The entire PC gaming community has its eyes glued to the internet, waiting for some performance benchmarks for NVIDIA’s new Turing RTX graphics cards. Well, the wait is over, ’cause apparently, the benchmarks for the RTX 2080Ti and RTX 2080 have been leaked online. Now, considering these are the official benchmarks, you might want not want to rush in for those pre-orders, but still, these should give you a fair idea about what kind of performance to expect.
The benchmarks in question come from the official reviewer’s guide (via VideoCardz). The NVIDIA reference system used to test these cards has the following specs:
- CPU – Intel i9 7900X
- RAM – Corsair 16GB DDR4
- Motherboard – X299 Rampage VI Apex
Note that all the benchmarks were performed at 4K at the highest preset settings, as NVIDIA claims that the RTX 2080 and 2080Ti have been designed for 4K gaming. And the official charts confirm that, with the GTX 2080Ti well above the 60 FPS mark in most of the titles. You can check out the rest of the numbers for games as well as synthetic tests below.
