Steam, Valve’s online store platform and community hub is growing as the years go by and now has an active user base of over 90 million people.

So starting off with the stats from 2017, their highest peak concurrent users were 14 Million, there were 33 Million players active daily and 67 Million players active monthly. That’s not all though as there were roughly 1.5M purchasers per month since the start of 2016 with a total of 27 Million new purchasers.

Then they dropped information for this year and the growth is staggering. Peak Concurrent Users rose 4.5 Million from 2017 and has a new peak of 18.5 Million, Daily Active Users saw an increase of 14 Million players to 47 Million Daily Active Users. Monthly active users are through the roof as it rose from 67 Million to 90 Million Active Users. The only huge growth that wasn’t seen was in the Purchasers Per Month which went from 1.5M to 1.6M which is still good growth.
