Establish your home base deep in the Parisian Catacombs and tackle missions in any order you want. Team up with a friend or play with an AI companion and obliterate the Nazi regime.
Along with the newly added co-op system, Youngblood features some newly added RPG elements. Explore Paris and take on the Nazis to level up and unlock new abilities, weapon attachments, gadgets, cosmetics and more. You’ll have access to updated and improved New Colossus weapons like the Dieselkraftwerk, Shockhammer (now called the Kugelgewehr), Laserkraftwerk and more, and you’ll also be able to tear through the fascist hordes with a number of new weapons like the iconic Maschinepistole and the devastatingly powerful Elektrokraftwerk.
A Tale of Two Studios
On its face, Youngblood tells the story of two sisters, but behind the scenes, it also tells the story of two sister studios. MachineGames has partnered with the creative talents at Arkane Studios in Lyon to bring you the latest installment in this series.
“This opportunity to co-develop our next installment of the Wolfenstein series with Arkane Studios in Lyon is a great example of how we can be stronger as part of the ZeniMax family,” says Jerk Gustafsson, Game Director at MachineGames. “This collaboration and sharing of our respective expertise has not only resulted in a truly great and completely new Wolfenstein experience, but it has also brought our two studios closer together in a friendship that will be of tremendous value in our continuous efforts to craft beautiful, original and fun video games.”
“Arkane is working on a number of exciting projects,” continues Dinga Bakaba, Game Director at Arkane Studios in Lyon. “But when we got this opportunity to join forces with our MachineGames friends on Youngblood, we were thrilled. It’s been an honor to help realize this vision of two sisters fighting back against a fascist regime in the streets of 1980s Paris. This has also been a unique chance to bring an Arkane touch to the Wolfenstein IP, and we’ve been able to gather some learnings from one of the most talented studios in the world in the process.”
When you pick up the Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition, you’ll get the Buddy Pass, meaning you can partner up with a friend, even if that friend doesn’t own the game. With Activision announcing COD: Mobile, the fans are already hyped. During a time period, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was an immensely popular game in the Indian gaming community. However, no one knows why things went south. But, perhaps the upcoming mobile version will help COD regain its glory, seeing the craze of PUBG Mobile.
We have a hot leak breaking through via Digit India. Digit reports that industry sources have indicated that the game will come out on Unite Festival India, which is scheduled for 14-15 November in Kochi. While both Tencent Games and Activision claim the post for being the game’s developer, it is based on the Unity engine. So, COD: Mobile launching on Unite festival makes sense.
You can pre-register for COD: Mobile and in case you are too eager, you can even sign-up to get an early access to the game. Furthermore, a beta version might make its way to India by the end of June or early July.
We talked about Intel’s upcoming 11 generation GPUs in an earlier article. The new processor lineup is alleged to offer performance competitive to that of Nvidia’s MX series. Moreover, with the latest update, Intel has released a new command center for integrated graphics users which indicates that Intel is perhaps gearing up for the new series.
Now we have some more ‘juicy’ information about these graphics processors.
The new iGPU series will be based on Intel’s upcoming 10nm Sunny Cove architecture. With Intel upgrading to 10nm process node, we’ll see an upward trend on power efficiency charts along side increased performance. Going by TechPoweredUp’s report, there will be 13 variants of 11th gen iGPUs. The crown is claimed by Intel Iris Plus Graphics 950. This iGPU will come with 64 EUs and will feature higher clock speeds. Following the 950 is the Iris 940 which will probably have two variants, with 64 and 48 EUs respectively. Reportedly, this chip will also power SOCs alongside Intel’s Ice Lake chips.
All major APIs including DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal and OpenCL are on the support list. Intel claims these chips to deliver up to a TeraFLOPs of performance, which seems true for the Iris 950 and the Iris 940.
Sharing space along with the Iris chips are the Intel’s ‘UHD Graphics’ chips. These chips will be packed with Intel’s Ice Lake processors. This will allow the users to do everyday tasks along with some light productivity and limited gaming without having to buy a discrete graphics card. Find WccfTech’s detailed analysis here.
