Cuphead is Getting an Animated Series on Netflix

A game that had very humble beginnings is now en route to get its own TV show on the biggest streaming platform in the world. Cuphead is getting a TV Show called “The Cuphead Show!” that is going to follow the adventures of Cuphead and his brother Mugman.

Studio MDHR’s hit boss-rush title Cuphead is getting an animated series on Netflix. The Cuphead Show will follow Cuphead and his brother Mugman and their adventures in Inkwell Isle. The show won’t be a retelling of the game and will have original stories.

The Cuphead game primarily caught people’s attention thanks to its hand-drawn 1930’s animation style. This art style will carry over to the animated show as well however, it will be animated by Netflix’s own staff and not by Studio MDHR.

The animations will be hand drawn however, they’ll be hand drawn digitally and not on paper.  “The current goal is to stay as far away from [computer-assisted] puppeteer animation as possible”, said Cuphead’s co-creator  Chad Moldenhauer in a phone interview with IGN.

From mortgaging their house to complete the game to getting their own Animated Show, Studio MDHR and the Moldenhauer brothers have come a long way and we can’t wait to see how The Cuphead Show! turns out.

In addition, the bundle promotion is also being extended across our RTX product lineup. So other RTX GPUs, including RTX-based desktops and laptops from our worldwide partners, are also eligible for this promotion.

NEW GAME READY DRIVER DELIVERS MORE DX12 PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS

NVIDIA also released a new Game Ready Driver the delivers significant performance improvements for the DirectX 12 versions of Metro ExodusStrange Brigade, and Tom Clancy’s Division 2.  Check out the GeForce.com article for details on how these DX12 titles have improved over time.

This driver also adds support for the new GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and GeForce 2070 Super GPUs as well as 3 new G-SYNC compatible displays (LG 34GL750HP 25mx, and HP Omen X 25f).

NVIDIA FRAMEVIEW NOW PUBLICLY AVAILABLE

Today also marks the launch of NVIDIA FrameView, our performance and power benchmarking application. Graphics cards are investments, bought on the promise of delivering excellent performance in that card’s class for at least 2 to 3 years. It’s therefore important that the benchmarks of these cards are accurate and cover all the bases, showing frame rates, frame times, power usage, performance per watt, and more.

To date, no single tool or app has accurately delivered these results, which is why we’ve created FrameView, an all-in-one benchmarking app that everyone can download and use for free.

FrameView can capture data from all major APIs and virtually all games thanks to support for DirectX 9, 10, 11 and 12, OpenGL, Vulkan, and Universal Windows Platform (UWP) applications.

It has a minimal, lightweight impact on performance while benchmarking, its integrated overlay enables you to view performance and stats during gameplay, and it’s vendor agnostic, too, enabling the collection of detailed, comparative data. One exception: AMD’s GPU power consumption API reports a value in-between chip power and board power, rather than the true values. So you’ll have to contact AMD and ask them to provide accurate results in their API.

In short, if you want to view or collect real-time GPU performance and power data in games, FrameView delivers more of it with a higher degree of accuracy than many other tools and methods, making it the go-to app for benchmarking.

Top 5 Free Games for PC

The Summer Sale has ended and money might be tight. You ‘ve probably heard of CSGo, Dota 2 and PUBG Lite so here are five free games for PC that you may not have known about.

Warframe

You’re a Space Ninja who wears an exo-suit with a sword and guns and really cool tech. The game is filled to the brim with content and often gets compared to Destiny however, the fans of Warframe will be quick to tell you that this game is vastly superior. The difficulty curve is a little bit steep at the start but once you’re in, you’ll be really in.

Path of Exile

Craving some Diablo-like action? Check out Path of Exile. This Action-RPG is very similar in terms of gameplay and will really scratch the itch that Diablo Immortal obviously could not.

Dirty Bomb

A game that can be described as a mixture of Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch. Complete objectives to help your team win with a supporting cast of colourful characters and classes. Sadly, the game is not being supported anymore with live updates but the servers are still live with a pretty small yet active player base. Give this game a try before it’s lost to time.

Deceit

Deceit is a game of deception. Inspired by Gmod’s famous Trouble in Terrorist Town game mode, this game throws in 6 players into a match with 2 of those being infected. The infected must kill all the innocent players while the innocent players must complete objectives and survive till the end and escape to win. It is extremely fun to play, especially with friends and is an absolute blast.

Ironsight

If you want a game that has gameplay similar to the fast-paced shooting action of Call of Duty, look no further. Ironsight is a fast and fluid first-person shooter that’s very reminiscent of the multiplayer modes of Call of Duty titles. It’s very easy to get into and the shooting is very satisfying.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam – Green Army Men DLC Launch

Green Army Men includes four maps, and is available free to owners of Rising Storm 2, though buying the DLC unlocks all classes, and revenue is shared with the modders behind it.

Earlier last year in December during Christmas, a free Christmas event added in the Green Army Men to the game for a limited time. This, on the other hand, is a full-blown expansion with multiple maps.

While it is available for free to everyone who owns Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, they will only be limited to the Rifleman class. You have to buy the Green Army Men DLC to unlock the other classes which also give part of the revenue to the modders.

Pokemon Sword and Shield: Gigantamaxing and Version Exclusive Gym Leaders

As we inch closer to Pokemon Sword and Shield’s release date, we get more information regarding the game’s new mechanics.

The new ability besides Dynamaxing is called Gigantamaxing. Gigantamaxing changes both the size and the appearance of the Pokemon. Unlike Dynamax though, Gigantamax only happens to a few select few Pokemon of the species and they can be caught by participating in Max Raid Battles.

Gigantamax also gives access to a special G-Max Move. Each G-Max Move is particular to a specific species of Gigantamax Pokémon, and regular Dynamax Pokémon can’t use G-Max Moves.

We have also learned that Pokemon Sword and Shield will have version exclusive gyms. Pokemon Sword gets Bea, the Fighting-type expert while Pokemon Shield gets Allister, the Ghost-type expert.

Besides that, there are region exclusive Pokemon as well. Deino and Jangmo-o only appear in Pokémon Sword and Larvitar and Goomy only appear in Pokémon Shield.

We also got to see new Pokemon from the Galar region, one of which who Gigantamaxes into a  huge cake. First ice-creams and now cake, we wonder what’s next in the Pokemon Confectionary family.

Team Liquid bag Intel Grand Slam Season 2 after winning ESL One Cologne

The North American Team Liquid has won ESL One Cologne which makes them the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 winners.

The current HLTV #1 team beat the French squad of Team Vitality in the finals in a decisive 3-1 victory. The young French superstar ZywOo was crowned MVP of the tournament but sadly his heroics could not stop the current in-form Team Liquid.

Team Liquid locked in the Intel Grand Slam prize just five events into the second season and won it over a span of just 144 days. In comparison, last season’s Grand Slam lasted 15 events and a whopping 523 days.

With Liquid looking so dominant, the tables might finally be turning and the NA era of CS might be on the rise.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition is Coming to PC

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition is the rebundle of the PlayStation 4 title with the same name. This game features the original 2015 game and also Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory,.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition was announced at Anime Expo during Bandai Namco’s ‘Future of Digimon’ panel. This game is set to release for PC and the Nintendo Switch on October 18th of this year.

Bandai Namco also stated that a new Digimon Story game is in the works which won’t be a continuation of the Cyber Sleuth series of games. This is a really awesome move from Bandai Namco as getting Digimon to PC will bring in a big audience who might be disgruntled with Pokemon at the moment.
