PUBG Mobile Map Guide: Sanhok

Source: ZillionGamer

Sanhok is the third addition to the PUBG Mobile map pool and is the smallest of them all. Laid out in a 4×4 grid Sanhok features comparatively close-quarters battles with short games.

Best landing spots

Source: PC Quest

Bootcamp – Centrally located, Bootcamp is extremely chaotic at the beginning of the game, but Sanhok being such a small map, it’s highly unlikely you’ll find a spot with a dearth of enemies. It contains one of the best loot in the map and is a go-to for many players.

Source: GuruGamer

Ruins – This is one of the most beautiful places on the map and contains good loot. Be careful not to land on the roof or the upper area as it is heavily exposed, making you an easy target. Land quickly and gear up.

Source: PC Quest

Paradise Resort – Roughly the equivalent of Erangel’s school, Paradise Resort is a paradise when it comes to loot as well as the number of enemies dropping here. Try to land on the perimeter as you find stuff to loot.

Other tips

Source: YouTube

Use your feet instead of using vehicles. The map is small so using vehicles will give away your position and there’s no need to use vehicles to get to the circle due to the same.

Source: YouTube

Avoid camping as it is very easy for you to get flanked because of the hilly terrain and small map size.

Use the lush vegetation top your advantage and move in between it while running across open areas.

Free Fire Will Feature Hrithik Roshan As a New Character

Free Fire has recently announced their plans for releasing a new character ‘Jai’ based on the famous Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. Free Fire has over 31 characters, out of which many have been inspired from real life personalities but this is the first time an actor as famous as Hrithik has joined the game’s roster.

The actor has previously played characters with the same name as ‘Jai’ in movies such as Bang Bang and Kites which were not only famous domestically but internationally too.

Previously, there were leaks that suggested the character will be coming with the Free Fire OB23 update but that turned out to be not true as the update featured Hayato and Luqueta.

This reveal is all part of Free Fire’s ‘Be The Hero’ campaign and according to the company the developers are looking forward to bring together two extremely popular industries in the country (Gaming and Film).

Ability and Backstory

According to previous leaks the new character ‘Jai’ is supposedly a SWAT agent trained to operate in high risk situations who belongs to New Delhi, India.

He also has an ability called ‘Furious Reload’ which allows players to reload their weapons immediately. This will prove to be a very useful ability in firefights and can turn the tide very easily.

PUBG Mobile: Best Guns To Use

Pubg Mobile gives players over 40 weapons to choose from but not all weapons were made equal. Some guns perform better than the others and may give players tactical advantage based on what kind of weapon they are.

The majority of players prefer either assault rifles or snipers but there are also many others which can also do the job for you.

Groza

Dealing the same damage as the AKM but with a faster rate of fire, it is by far one of the most overpowered gun in the game. However, the only drawback is its 3 second reload time which can be quite a risk during a firefight. I would recommend having a backup weapon ready to use.

AWM

The deadliest sniper in PUBG Mobile, the AWM. In the right hands, it can wreak havoc on your enemies. It has the highest base damage of 105 and can easily take down an enemy with a Level 3 Helmet in a single headshot. But it’s pretty rare too, as it’s only available through the air drops.

Another issue is that the AWM uses Magnum rounds instead of regular 7.62mm ones, which are again, only found in air drops. For the attachments it has the same options as the M24: sight, muzzle, magazine and stock.

SLR

The SLR marksman rifle can be seen as a more powerful version of the SKS, dealing more damage at the expense of more recoil.  It is also more suited to ranged combat where there is ample cover and time to engage enemies.

M416

Compared to SCAR-L this assault rifle has a better fire rate and exceptional stability. Furthermore, it can even accept the most modifications of any of the assault rifles making it very powerful when fully modified.

UZI

Don’t let its low damage and high recoil confuse you as its still the best and the most common weapon players have a chance to get after jumping of the plane. It features a high fire rate capable of finishing players of at close range. However, it is recommended that you only continue to use this weapon in mid to endgame if you have fully modified it.

UMP45

The UMP45 is probably the best viable sub-machine gun for late game. it has the quite a high damage output coupled with negligible recoil when fully modified.

Kar 98

Not only is this the most common sniper rifle in the game, it also has the highest damage. It’s base damage it 79, and if you’re able to get a headshot, you can get a one-shot kill even on a level 2 helmet.

S12K

Easily the most powerful shotgun in the game, the S12K is a devastating weapon at close range. It also supports a number of assault rifle attachments, which makes it more versatile. Its high rate of fire and short reload time makes it extremely viable when taking on multiple enemies indoors.

Valorant: Best Guns To Use

Ever since its release Valorant has proved that’s its the next big thing in the eSport world after CS:GO. Much like Counter Strike, Valorant has a unique arsenal for players to utilize but not all weapons are made equal. In this article we will discuss the current meta of the game and tell you what weapon is best for your playstyle.

Operator- Sniper

A fierce bolt-action sniper rifle with high-powered dual zoom. Extremely immobile but fires an incredibly powerful round that can devastate a team with one shot. Players of CS:GO may already familiar with the Operator as its the Valorant version of the fabled one hit one kill wonder.

It requires high level of skill from the player so I would advice that beginners should not use their credits on this carelessly. But if you are a quick shot and have a great aim, any shot to the chest or head is a one-shot kill even if the enemy has full armor.

Vandal-Rifle

The Vandal is a fully automatic rifle and is unique for its high DPS at any range. It has the ability to kill opponents with one shot to the head. Like other rifles, one can aim down the sights (ADS) to reduce spread at the cost of fire rate.

Extended fire results in less stability. However, the Vandal retains high damage over distance and rewards those who focus single shots at a target’s head.

Phantom-Rifle

The Phantom does less damage per bullet than its counterpart, the Vandal, but makes up for it with its above average accuracy, low spread and a Silencer. It has a shorter range though, and its damage falls off at longer distances.

Go full auto for anyone who tests you up close with short controlled bursts which can scramble enemies from anywhere. Best when fired while stationary.

Spectre-SMG

This SMG does good damage, especially with headshots, and is accurate at short range. It isn’t exactly a rifle replacement, but if you’re low on Creds it’s the next best thing to a Phantom rifle.

A jack-of-all-trades weapon with a great balance of damage, fire rate, and accuracy—at both short and mid range. It haunts the corners of every map and requires only steady aim to drop foes at long distance.

Ghost- Sidearm

The Ghost is a reliable backup weapon. Its above-average accuracy, good damage and overall consistency allows you to rely on the pistol during most situations. It loses its accuracy the more you fire but if you’re confident in your shots this is a great pistol for you.

The Ghost is accurate and carries a large magazine if you miss. Distant targets require a controlled fire rate. Quickly tap the trigger when you can see the whites of their eyes.

Sheriff-Sidearm

The Sheriff is the Desert Eagle aka ‘Deagle’ of Valorant. It is the most expensive sidearm in the game, costing 800 Credits. It is a semi-automatic revolver with a six-shot magazine and high damage output.

It is highly capable of a 1-shot headshot kill if you are accurate enough. It’s high-impact rounds pack a ton of recoil and require true grit to master. Wield the Sheriff right, and your enemies will know they were expendable.

PUBG Mobile Sniping Guide

Having a good sniper in your PUBG Mobile team can significantly reduce your chances of winning. With snipers being a one-hit kill in most cases, it’s very easy to gain the upper hand before you even get into a full-fledged fight. Also, why have a squad member who could do that, you could be the sniper in your squad using our best sniping guide in PUBG Mobile.

Source: Zillion Gamer

Where to find snipers and attachments

Before you begin sniping, you’ll need to find a sniper. Unfortunately, this requires one to land in military areas and hot drops which may seem counterintuitive because of the possibility of dying early game. You can check out our map guide of Erangel and Miramar to help you decide which is the best location to drop in each of these maps.

These areas have a higher chance of spawning the Kar98k and sniper scopes. Kar98k is currently the lowest damaging sniper in the game, in order to get other snipers such as the AWM, you’ll need to capture a supply drop.

How to use the Sniper effectively

Source: Guru Gamer

Bullet Drop – All weapons in PUBG have a bullet drop, which means that when shooting over long distances, the bullet will drop downward in a curve. The bullet drop differs  from gun to gun and also the distance. There are markings on the various scopes themselves to gauge your shots accordingly.

Source: GameZone
  • Damage – Each sniper has different damage and this should be kept in mind while picking fights.

Kar98K head damage:

  • No helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 1 helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 2 helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 3 helmet: Two shot kill

M24 head damage:

  • No helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 1 helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 2 helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 3 helmet: Two shot kill

AWM head damage:

  • No helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 1 helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 2 helmet: One shot kill
  • Level 3 helmet: One shot kill

Finally, a body shot will not kill a player in one hit. The only exception is if you hit a player with no body armor whilst using the AWM. Here’s a look at the body shot stats:

Kar98K body damage:

  • No armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 1 armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 2 armor: Three shot kill
  • Level 3 armor Three shot kill

M24 body damage:

  • No armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 1 armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 2 armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 3 armor Three shot kill

AWM body damage:

  • No armor: One shot kill
  • Level 1 armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 2 armor: Two shot kill
  • Level 3 armor Two shot kill
Source: BlueStacks

Other Tips – If you shoot a player and they don’t die and you’re within close proximity of the player, say 200 meters or less, then it’s much better to switch to your AR as reloading the next bullet and scoping in will take more time than just switching and finishing off the player with your AR.

PUBG Mobile Map Guide: Vikendi

Vikendi is one of the newer maps in PUBG and is laid out in a 6x6km grid with a varying landscape that contains snowy mountains to farmlands. There are urban areas too, which means that there’s plenty of cover and opportunity to flank. This the third article in our series of map guides, you can check out our Miramar and Erangel guide too.

Source: Eurogamer

Best drop locations in Vikendi

Source: YouTUbe

Goroka – This is one of the four bigger towns in Vikendi and has tall buildings as well. You’ll want to land in one of the taller buildings as it’ll give you the elevation advantage. In terms of loot, it contains enough equipment for you to last the whole game through. It’s central location also makes it camper friendly as you will have no need to go out because you’ll be inside the ring.

Source: PUBG

Winery – Located towards the south of the map, Winery is located right next to Pilnec. This means that you can usually expect players to loot Pilnec and come to Winery for some kills so be on guard. The main selling points of Winery are the wine cellars, not for their revelries but the fact that you get really amazing loot down there. Be cautious though because there are usually players waiting down there.

Source: Pinterest

Cosmodrome – True to its name, the Cosmodrome is one of the most iconic places in the map. It’s designed like an old abandoned spaceport. Most of the buildings here have underground locations that contain plenty of good loot. Also, you’ll have to move quickly because the ring usually doesn’t stay in this area for too long and there are lots of open spaces which make you an easy target.

Source: GuruGamer

Castle – if you’re in the mood to kill and partake in some hardcore combat, then Castle is the place to go. It’s easily the most popular landing spot in the map so be prepared to fight off hordes of enemies. The high risk also means a high reward because there are lots of fully kitted weapons available here.

Source: GameRadar

Lumber Yard – A good option when playing solos, the Lumber Yard has good loot for one person. Not many people land here, so you can take your own sweet time while looting and looking for gear. There are also plenty of buildings in the surrounding area which means that in case you don’t find enough loot, you can go tot hem and find some more loot.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4: Marvel’s Nexus War

Fortnite has really one upped itself by releasing a whole season worth of Marvel content in-game. The Chapter 2 Season 4 of Fortnite brings with it a whole lot of your favorite Marvel heroes and villains to the game. This season’s story line will mainly focus on Thor and Galactus but joining them are other members of the Marvel Comics such as Iron Man, Wolverine, Doctor Doom, Groot, She-Hulk, Mystique, and Storm.

New Locations

The Battle Royale map has also gone through some changes such as the spawn island being replaced by the ‘Helicarrier’ and several Quinjet landing pads being added throughout the map. There’s also the new Stark supply drones that surround these Quinjet landing sites. Players can shoot these down for a delivery of powerful weapons and hero abilities.

A mini-boss battle has also been added to the game to the location known as Doom’s Domain. Here you can battle the infamous villain himself and if you manage to take him down you’ll be able to claim his Plasma Gauntlets that never run out of ammo.

Hero Abilities and New Weapon

Players will also be able to wield the powers of all the Marvel characters featured in this update. Currently, there are only two powers that are available in-game (Groot and Doctor Doom) with more coming in as the season goes on.

A new rifle is also being added to the game, an uncommon weapon ‘Stark Industries Energy Rifle’ that transforms based on how you aim which you can get by fighting Stark robots at the crashed Quinjet sites.

Battle Pass

This season’s battle pass gives you access to skins from all of the Marvel characters featured in this update. These skins will also have a special “Awakening” challenges tied to them that unlock special emotes such as wielding Thor’s hammer or transforming Tony Stark into Iron Man. These emotes are built in to the skin and the coolest one by far is the Iron Man suit up emote which makes my inner geek swirl.

These skins unlock as you progress through the Battle Pass :-

Thor — Tier 1

She-Hulk— Tier 22

Groot — Tier 38

Storm — Tier 53

Doctor Doom — Tier 67

Mystique — Tier 80

Tony Stark — Tier 93

Iron Man — Tier 100

Wolverine — Secret Skin

PUBG Mobile: How To Use Custom Lobby

PUBG Mobile has recently announced their next big update, version 1.0 which brings in a lot of new features and improvements to the game but there’s one feature that has been swept under the radar since its addition.

The custom room feature allows players to create their own lobby where they can add their friends and even host some tournaments. These custom rooms allow players to set some rules for their lobby such as map selection, game modes, weapons, squad mode, solo mode, and many other interesting things.

How To Join a Custom Room

Other players can also join this lobby and play together if they know the password for the created room. A single room can hold upto 100 players making it a great place to hold tournaments.

To enter a Room, players need to go to ‘Match mode’ settings on the lobby screen, which will show you a list of available rooms, and you can select the one you want to join. You can always ask for the room ID and password from the creator.

How To Make a Custom Room

To make a custom room users need to have a Custom Room Card for which there are 2 ways to get it.

  • Users can straight up buy an advanced room card for 600 UC points.
  • Get one by leveling up their RP and Rank

Once you have the card go to the main lobby screen and tap on the ‘Customise match selection’ button. Now you will be able to see a Room tab on the bottom-left corner. Here you can create a custom room and play around with its settings such as Room Name, Match Mode (Solo, Duo, Team), Room Password, and Map Selection.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – I am excited and you should be too

On 26th August, Activision hosted an in-game event in Warzone in which the full trailer and snippets of gameplay were shown after completing a set of objectives. Multiple bad experiences with Activision have taught me to be cautious but this event was a pleasant surprise.

Source: Gamespot

The event began with a playlist update in-game at around 11PM IST after which a Know Your History game mode appeared on the home screen. The event began with a slightly different version of the intro which you see in every Warzone match. There were black lines blurring all text which was visible on the screen. Upon jumping into the game, you had to kill people to gain intel then find and secure a “key”. Upon successful completion of the first two objectives, the players are given the approximate location in which they have to search for a ‘weapon’. The last objective is called “Wield the weapon” in which you get a glimpse of Sgt. Woods who hands over a sniper to you.

Source: Forbes

All the while there were RGB split effects in-game along with a distorted voice reminding you to know your history and mumbling a sequence of numbers. At the very end, one had to run towards the stadium in Verdansk without any weapons and as you drew closer the screen got more distorted along with a wailing siren sound which gave me literal chills.

Upon successfully reaching the stadium, the trailer officially began with a glimpse of Sgt. Woods and awesome vehicular action. All of this with Credence Clearwater Revival’s Vietnam anthem ‘Run Through The Jungle’ was playing as the backdrop. This was followed by some combat glimpses in a dry sandy environment complete with sandrails.

Source: Forbes

The only negative aspect I can think of is the fact that they didn’t showcase the multiplayer aspects or the zombies. All these details will be revealed on September 9.
