Borderlands 3 Announced, No Battle Royale Mode, Over A Billion Guns

Publisher 2K Games and developer Gearbox Software have announced Borderlands 3, the next full installment in the original shooter-looter franchise. The announcement was made at PAX East, and more information will be revealed on the 3rd of April.

With a huge array of guns, lots of new and returning characters, and no throwaway Battle royale mode, Borderlands 3 is poised to be the next definitive looter shooter.

Alongside Borderlands 3, 4K remasters/DLC updates for the original Borderlands and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection were also announced, with various bug fixes.
