Call Of Duty: Blackout Is Free For The Month Of April

For those itching to get their hands on another battle royale game, without shelling out any bucks for it, Call Of Duty’s Blackout mode is going to be free for the month of April. Blackout had been facing a severe player-base issue, and the recent release of Apex Legends for free has not helped.

This news probably comes on the heels of a dwindling playerbase and the need to monetize, and players can expect to play Call of Duty Blackout for free through the month of April.

This might also be paving the way for making the Battle royale component of future Call of Duty games entirely free, and maybe even separate from the yearly release. Activision also announced that there won’t be a new Battle Royale mode coming with this year’s Call of Duty.
