Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 1 Guide For Beginners

Activision has made a huge comeback with this year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Not only does has it restored the franchise to its former glory, it has also added a bunch of new things for both old and new fans to enjoy. The game’s Season 1 has been released recently, and with it comes some great new content. But if you’re someone who’s just getting into the game, it can be a little daunting to figure out where to start. That’s why we’ve made this handy guide to help you.

What to do if you’re a beginner

If you’re new to the game and you start off with the multiplayer, unfortunately, you won’t have much unlocked, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the game. There are actually a few decent default classes in the game that come in very handy at the start, whether you prefer to sneak around the enemies or go in guns blazing.

Recommended Loadout for Aggressive Players

The best loadout for aggressive players to use is the Demolition Loadout. This has an AK47 with a bunch of great attachments. You wont be unlocking this gun or its attachment early on so this is a great weapon to use at the start.

For your secondary weapon, you have a PILA Rocket Launcher that you can use to destroy enemy vehicles and also absolutely destroy enemies on the ground that annoy you. Nothing feels better than to just pull out an RPG and shoot at someone who has been wrecking you the whole match.

For your lethal equipment, you get C4 which is not only effective but also really fun to use. Throw them around, bait some enemies in, blow them up and be home in time for dinner.

The perks in this class are also very helpful as you take less explosive damage and get killstreaks faster.

Recommended Loadout for Stealth Players

Now, if you’re more of the sneaky type, you should pick the Ghost class that has a stealthier approach. The AUG is the main weapon that has a high right of fire and a suppressor so you can easily run and gun. Your secondary is the 50GS pistol which is essentially the Desert Eagle. This hard-hitting pistol is a great backup to your AUG.

For your lethal weapon, there is Thermite which sticks to surfaces and can burn enemies to death. If you’re able to strategize and use it effectively, it can be pretty devastating for your enemies.

This class excels in stealthy play as the perks in this hide your death markers which means when you kill someone it won’t show up on the map and you won’t be visible to digital surveillance so you won’t show up on the radar.

What’s New in Season 1

In addition to new weapons, Season 1 adds a Battle Pass to the game which you can buy for 1000 COD points. The Battle Pass provides a boost to the COD points you can earn as you play the game. If you don’t buy the battle pass you can earn up to 300 COD Points, but on the other hand, if you do have the Battle Pass, you can unlock an extra 1000 COD Points which can then be used to buy the Battle Pass for next season.  The 2 new guns added to the game are the Holger-26 LMG and the RAM-7 bullpup assault rifle.

As you progress through the Battle Pass, you’ll keep unlocking rewards. But if you want to unlock the new guns, you will have to play the game quite a bit. The Holger-26 unlocks at tier 15 of the Battle Pass. While the RAM-7 unlocks at tier 31. So you’ll have to spend some time before you can unlock these weapons.

You can also use CoD Points to skip Battle Tiers in case you want to quickly progress through this season’s Battle Pass and want to get the new guns faster.

Thankfully this time around, new maps and weapons won’t be locked behind a paywall and everyone will be able to access them by just playing the game. And, the game already has a lot of guns so picking the best ones can be hard. But don’t worry, we’ll be putting up guides for those too, so stick around and you’ll see a lot of helpful tips.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare M4A1 All-Rounder Guide – Best Loadout For Beginners

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has tons of guns to choose from, and each gun can have a variety of loadouts, so deciding what weapon to choose can be a daunting task. So we’ve prepared this handy all-rounder guide for the M4A1, one of the most versatile weapons in the game. This loadout should be able to help you no matter what the situation or your preferred playstyle is.

The M4A1 is one of the best guns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It is very versatile and is available from the start. It’s also got an easy recoil and handles quite well which makes it a good weapon to main. With a huge number of attachments available, here’s one of the best loadouts for this rifle.

The All-Rounder

So this loadout is all about having the most all-rounded performance from this rifle.

Here’s the 5 attachments that you need to put on this rifle.

  • Barrel: Use the Stock M16 Grenadier Barrel
  • Optic: Operator Reflex Sight
  • Stock: Singuard Arms Invader
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Granulated Grip Tape

This weapon loadout is all about having good power, good range, and decent recoil reduction. The only thing that suffers here is mobility but that’s fine since you’re getting much better weapon handling in return.

Once you’ve equipped these attachments, you’ll want to pick a secondary gun. Here I would suggest using  the 1911 handgun which will help you get out of some tight spots when you need to reload.

Onwards we go to perks. Here you’ll want to use EOD for Perk 1. This perk will increase your resistance to non killstreak explosives which means that youll be able to stay alive for longer and take a bit more damage on the battlefield.

The next perk you’ll want is Hardline in Perk 2. This will reduce the cost of killstreaks by 1. This means that you’ll be able to get killstreaks faster.

The final perk you’ll want is Battle Hardened in Perk 3. This increases your resistance to flashbangs, stun grenades and EMPs, which could be the difference between surviving or dying.

All of these perks together will allow you to be a bit more aggressive since you’ll take less explosive damage, be less affected by non-lethal equipment and also get killstreaks faster.

For your lethal equipment, you can use a frag grenade. You can also use Molotov Cocktail or Semtex, it just depends on  how you tend to utilize your utility.

For non-lethal you can use either the flashbang or the stun grenade. This will help you when you’re pushing and when you need to gain a slight advantage going into combat situations.

Now let’s see what killstreaks you should be using with this build.

The first one you’ll want to set is Cruise Missile. Thanks to your perk, you’ll get this at 4 kills so you’ll be able to deal quite a lot of damage, especially if they’re close together.

The next one you’ll want to set is a VTOL Jet. You’ll get this at 7 kills and this is such a great killstreak to have since it will assist you and your team so much.

The final kill streak is White Phosphorus which you’ll get at 9 kills. This is also extremely powerful and damages enemies all over the map.

Now, if you don’t have White Phosphorus unlocked you can use the UAV, chopper gunner or whichever one you feel will help you get an advantage.

And finally for your field upgrade, pick Dead Silence.

This will silence your footsteps and increase movement speed making you an absolute deadly force to be reckoned with.

This build is all about giving heavy damage and being versatile.

If you’re in a match with a lot of enemy killstreaks like Choppers and Jets, you can swap the 1911 for an RPG to damage those. But mainly, you should be playing aggressively with a lot of movement and off-angle peeks.

With a little bit of time and some practice, you’ll be an unstoppable monster with the M4A1. Now, this is just one of the builds with this weapon and there are so many more ways to use this gun. If you want to see another build or another weapon’s loadout, leave us a comment and don’t forget to subscribe so that you don’t miss out on that video.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – 13 Tips To Get Started and Farm XP

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is back with a bang, and it has already restored the franchise to is former glory. Not only is it packed with an amazing story campaign, everything you love about the action-packed multiplayer is there too. The game has a ton of content, and you’ll have to play a lot of it to unlock it, so here’s a handy guide for those who are just getting started with the game for the best beginner experience.

Increase Mouse Sensitivity

First things first, unlike most FPS games where you use a lower sensitivity, CoD requires you to up that a little bit because it’s just a way more fast paced title. There is going to be a lot of running, gunning and sliding, so having a higher mouse sensitivity will be very helpful when you need to aim quickly or turn around in case you find yourself in an ambush.

Use Weapons that you can control

Now you need to pick weapons that you can control because that’s how you’ll get a better feel of the game. At the start, it’s important to get your aim down and using weapons that you can control and then exploring from there.

Learn Weapon Recoil

This brings us to our next point, learn the recoils. While you don’t have to learn the exact pattern like in CS:GO, you’ll need to learn the rough idea of how the recoil pattern is. Most engagements are quick affairs so most of the time you won’t get to use that recoil control a lot.

Don’t try to hold sprays for too long

And speaking of fast engagements, holding down the spray for too long isn’t the best idea. If you don’t get the kill, stop the spray, reposition and look around because chances are you might just get flanked by someone else because of the fast-paced nature of the game.

Try not to spray and pray

Another important aspect is picking your fights. Don’t start shooting at the first enemy that you spot because a lot of times they’re far away or moving too quickly to get a proper shot on. This leads to missed shots as well as your position is exposed. Take the shot when you’re confident you can get the kill

Mount your gun when you get the chance

A great way to reduce recoil and get a better controller of your gun is by mounting the gun which can be done at the click of a button and is very quick. This allows you to hold angles without being exposed and also allows you to spray a bit more.

Aiming Down Sights is a must

Now if you’re not mounting your gun, try to Aim Down Sight whenever you shoot, which gives you better accuracy as compared to just hip firing. While you can use hip-fire efficiently, those are only viable with certain weapon load-outs. Otherwise, in most cases, ADS is the best way to shoot.

Run and Gun but Use Cover and Plan your movement

Running and Gunning is a part of the game but what’s important is picking where you run. If you just go into the center out in the open, chances are that you’ll get killed by someone who isn’t even in your field of view. This happens extremely often and can lead to a lot of frustration. So to stop that from happening, pick your routes properly so that you’re at least covered on one side and don’t have 100s of angles to cover when moving.

Gaining XP

Now that you’ve gotten the hang of the game, you will want to gain more XP so that you can unlock loadouts, weapons, and attachments. So here’s how you can quickly gain exp.

Play 20 Player TDM. Don’t play Cyber Attack

The game mode that is the best to get XP is the 20 Player Team Death Match. It allows you to get plenty of kills and the main objective in this mode is to get kills so it’s a win-win. The worst game mode to play to get XP is Cyber Attack. It takes too long and you don’t get a lot of kills in it.

Play the objective but try to get kills and stay alive

Kills are very important in this game as that’s the best way to get XP. Even though you should always play the objective, getting kills and staying alive is always great to farm XP, especially when you can use your killstreaks.

Destroy kill streaks whenever possible

And while you’re at it, another good way to get XP in matches is to destroy the enemy’s killstreaks. This means shooting UAVs and VTOLs.

Complete challenges

Another way to get XP in the game is by completing challenges. These are some really easy ways to get XP and also allow you to experiment with your playstyle. Daily Challenges refresh every day so try to make sure to get them all to make the best out of it.

You also have mission challenges that can get you up to 10,000 XP and each mission has about 5 objectives that you can complete.

Now you should be set to start your journey into Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s action-packed multiplayer and not feel left out or frustrated. If you want to read tips, tricks and guides for your favorite games you can download the GamingMonk app from the Google Play Store.

COD Modern Warfare – AK-47 Best Attachments and Loadout Guide

The AK47 is an extremely powerful rifle in Modern Warfare that unlocks pretty late. So let’s check out one of the best balanced loadouts for this gun.

The AK47 is one of the most highly recommended weapons to use in this game. It’s got a lot of power and with a bit of good aim, can drop enemies to the floor in an instant. The only sad part is that you need to play and level up to level 53 to unlock. You can use a loadout of the gun as part of the demolition class though to get a feel of the gun before you unlock it.

Enough about the gun though, let’s take a look at the best attachments to get a balanced AK 47 that’s great for objective based gameplay as well as a bit of aggressiveness.

Starting off with the Muzzle: Use the Muzzle Break

For the Barrel: Use Spetsnaz Elite

For the Stock: use the Skeleton Stock

For the Underbarrel: use the Tactical Foregrip

And finally for the Rear Grip: use the Rubberized Grip Tape

This attachment setup is all about versatility but excels at Objective Game modes. The attachments improve accuracy, range, mobility and control without harming the other stats much. This results in a gun that is a lot of fun to use.

Now that you’re done with the attachments, you’ll want a secondary weapon to go with this deadly AK47. So for the secondary I recommend the JOKR Launcher which will help you take out enemy kill streaks.

Next up is Perks. Here’s you’ll want to use EOD for Perk 1. This perk will increase your resistance to non-killstreak explosives. So you’ll be able to stay alive for longer and eat more grenades before dying.

The next perk you’ll want to use is Ghost for Perk 2. This will hide you from digital surveillance meaning you wont show up on the radar. It also Hides your death markers. Which is great. If you’re more into utilizing Killstreaks, you can use Hardline.

For your last perk you’ll want Shrapnel which gives you an additional piece of lethal equipment. This increases your firepower and ability to clear out groups of enemies and objective points.

This perks helps you become very lethal but also helps hide you from enemies allowing you to flank them.

For lethal equipment, you can use a frag grenade or Semtex. I personally use semtex because it can stick to surfaces which can help set up traps or to clear out areas. Plus, hearing the beeps before you get notified of your kills is very satisfying.

For non-lethal i suggest using the Stun Grenade even though you can also use a Flashbang. Stun Grenades will heavily hinder the enemy’s ability to react making them sitting ducks. Works great when they’re grouped up.

Onwards we go to killstreaks. This heavily comes down to your playstyle. The first one you should get is the Personal Radar. This will help you get eyes on the enemy and will help you be prepared for what’s around the map.

The next one you should get is Counter UAV. When used with the Ghost perk, this will really help disorient enemies and disrupt their UAVs giving you the advantage.

And finally, you should get Cruise Missile. Time it well and you can clean up a majority of their team in one good hit.

Besides these you can also swap one of them for a VTOL which helps mop up the battlefield.

And finally for the field upgrade, you can Stopping Power if you want to deal out more damage or Trophy System to help keep you alive.

Stopping Power is great if you’ve got those low requirement kill streaks allowing you to shred enemies since it increases the damage dealt by your bullets.

While Trophy System is good if you’ve got something like the VTOL or White Phosphorus equipped which means you’ll want to stay alive longer. Trophy System does this by helping destroy lethal and tactical equipment so you’ll be temporarily safe from those.

That’s about it. You now have a strong, versatile AK47 loadout that will help you crush enemies with ease. As always, you can change certain things up a bit to make them more tuned towards your playstyle.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets NVIDIA Ansel Support

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the critically-acclaimed first-person shooter, will feature NVIDIA Ansel and NVIDIA Highlights at launch, along with real-time ray-traced shadows and NVIDIA Adaptive Shading. Activision also announced the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC system requirements for a variety of configurations and use cases.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets NVIDIA Ansel and Highlights

GeForce Experience is the essential companion to your GeForce graphics card, giving you tools that enhance your gaming experience, and enable new ways to interact with your favorite titles. Two of those tools will be available to GeForce gamers playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Ansel and Highlights.

Ansel is a powerful photo mode that enables you to take amazing in-game photos on PC during the Campaign from unique angles, which you can further customize with filters, tweaks, and other adjustments, before being optionally shared on social media, forums, or the Shot With GeForce website.

Highlights automatically captures videos of key moments, clutch kills, and match-winning plays, ensuring that your best multiplayer gaming moments are automatically saved, which you can easily share online.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Graphics Reach New Heights

As the Official PC Partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, NVIDIA worked side by side with Activision and Infinity Ward to take the graphics in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to never before seen levels. NVIDIA, Infinity Ward and Activision are working together to bring real-time ray tracing, NVIDIA Adaptive Shading, NVIDIA Ansel and Highlights to the game.

Real-time ray tracing is changing the way games are created and dramatically increases the image quality they can achieve.

NVIDIA Adaptive Shading is a new, advanced shading technique that enables developers to improve performance and achieve a real-time visual fidelity previously impossible in games. By adjusting the rate at which portions of the screen is shaded, the technology reduces the work the GPU has to do, which boosts performance without denigrating image quality.

System Requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can be viewed on the Activision blog here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Story Trailer Showcases How War Has Changed

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open Beta hooked in a lot of players but the latest Story Trailer has just helped propel that hype.

The story trailer showcases Captain Price as he and the SAS squad join forces with the CIA to help a fictional country in the Middle-East that has been ravaged by a Civil War. And now, they’ve got chemical weapons that can lead to a global war.

It’s up to Captain Price and his squad to stop that from happening but going in the dark and doing the dirty work that the others don’t want to or can’t do. It seems like characters from the original Modern Warfare trilogy may be making a return with many people hoping for Soap, Ghost, and Roach to comeback in some form.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on 25th October for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

All You Need to Know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Reveal Tonight

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the most looked forward to first-person shooters and the hype for this game keeps building as we inch closer to the release date and get tidbits of information. The multiplayer reveal is tonight at 10:30PM IST which means we can expect a lot of new info.

However, we have information from someone who claims to have been at the Multiplayer Event and they decided to do an impromptu AMA(Ask Me Anything) about the Multiplayer aspect of the game.

Reddit User PotatoA1mz  seemed extremely excited about the game and loved every moment of the game and go on to say that the game is a 10/10. They were also really taken aback with the plethora of customization each weapon had.

They also revealed something very interesting. The game has licensed Metallica music which is pretty awesome and will have it both, in the trailer tonight and also in the game itself.

The game will also feature a 20v20 Game mode that is chaotic and fun with maps that are sized appropriately so it doesn’t turn into a map that’s overcrowded or where it’s hard to find players.

Aside from this, we also know that when using KillStreaks in multiplayer, players will be able to use White Phsophouros, a deadly chemical weapon to kill their foes. If you’ve played Spec Ops: The Line, you know what this is.

We can’t confirm anything that the Reddit user posted but the trailer tonight will confirm whether or not the information they provided was true or not. It’s safe to say though that we’re extremely excited for this game and hope it can recapture the magic of the original two Modern Warfare titles.
