Garena Free Fire Best Controls and Sensitivity Settings Guide

We’ve already covered the best settings for Controls and Sensitivity for both PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile, but we’re yet to talk about it for Free Fire. Garena Free Fire has a lot of settings and options to play around with before you even get into a match, and if you’re stuck wondering what are the best settings to go with, don’t worry. This guide will provide you a good walkthrough of the Sensitivity and Controls settings menu, all its different options and what do to with them. So without further ado, let’s dive into it.

Sensitivity Settings

Now, let’s talk about the sensitivity settings. Here, we have no problem recommending the default settings as we find that they’re pretty good as such. There are no issues while aiming. In case you feel that the camera movement is a bit too slow or too fast, you should test it out and adjust the settings according to what you find comfortable.

Controls Settings

Coming to the Controls settings. Here also you’ll see a lot of options, but we’ll tell you which ones are the most important for you to set in the beginning.

First things first, keep the Aim Precision setting on default because it’ll make it much easier for you to aim. The Precise on Scope option will help you when you’re aiming without a scope but when you use a scope there won’t be any aim assist. Full Control means you won’t get any aim assist at all at any point.

Most people keep the Aim Precision on default in this game because it makes aiming a lot easier and you can get a lot more headshots.

Next, keep the In-Game tips on Simplified. This will keep the warnings and countdowns on the side instead of the middle of the screen, meaning you won’t have to worry about distractions and you’ll be able to focus on the game and killing your enemies.

The final setting here is the Auto Parachute. It’s better it keep it on as you won’t have to worry about deploying your parachute as you head down at full speed after jumping off from the plane. You’ll be able to land faster and get your hands on some good loot.

And this was our guide for the best Sensitivity and Control settings for Garena Free Fire. Let us know what you think in the comments and do share your feedback about the guide and the game as well. And don’t forget to check regularly for more Free Fire guides as we’re regularly updating our website with more tips and tricks for all your favorite games like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, COD Mobile, Clash Royale and more.

Garena Free Fire Tips and Tricks For Beginners

Garena Free Fire is a battle royale game that’s taking the country over by a storm. In fact, some people even prefer it over PUBG Mobile, the game that made battle royale so immensely popular. There are some differences between the two games, but the fundamentals are pretty much the same: Land amongst a horde of other players on an island, loot weapons, and gear, survive till the end and be the last man standing.

If you’re just getting into Free Fire, it might be a little overwhelming at first, figuring out all the different mechanics. That’s why we’ve made this handy guide with all the tips and tricks you’d need to know as a beginner to start winning some games.

Staying in Cover is Important

  • Now, this seems like an obvious one but people tend to forget this. If you’re new, you’ll most probably be playing in Bronze where most of your enemies are AI so you will get pretty confident as you rake up the wins and kills but it will also spoil your game sense a bit as you start to face off against better human players.
  • Always try to be near cover, especially when engaging an enemy as this will give you some breathing room and a place to retreat to in case you are surprised by their presence. If there’s nothing nearby, trees and bushes are your friends, otherwise, try to stick with a bigger and better cover like buildings.

Pick a Safe Drop Point

  • If you’re trying to be defensive and survive the early game without getting into too many fights, try landing far away from the path of the plane. Going to locations that fall close to the plane’s path may lead you to hot zones as a lot of other players do the same. Landing far will increase your chances of survival and also make sure you’re able to get some loot in peace.
  • When playing aggressively, feel free to land in areas that are in the plane’s flight path. This will help you learn how to be quick on your feet, trying to get loot as fast as you can and get you into action early on in the game.

Shoot To Kill

  • Shoot only and only when you’re sure you can secure the kill. Try to take advantage of enemies who are already engaged in a fight and kill them. Another thing you can try is to wait for the enemy to kill whoever they’re fighting, then just as they’re coming out or trying to heal, ambush them and get a kill for yourself.

The Mini Map is Your Best Friend

  • Map awareness is something that will always come in handy. The mini-map at the top shows the directions for enemy footsteps and firing, so keep an eye on the map as you play because that will give you a huge advantage.

Learn to play with different weapons

  • You need a versatile loadout that can help you come out on top, no matter how badly you may get stuck. For this, make sure you acquaint yourself with versatile weapons like assault rifles which can benefit from a variety of attachments as you’ll be relying on them a lot.
  • While a scoped weapon is great for ranged combat and to take out enemies without being spotted, when it comes to close quarters it can be your downfall. If you decide to Aim Down Sight(ADS) with a scoped weapon, your scope will magnify the view and make it hard for you to shoot an enemy who might be close to you and moving. Having an unscoped weapon can help alleviate this issue.

With the help of these tips and tricks, you should be able to bag a few easy wins in the beginning, helping you get used to the game and push your rank. The more you play, you can start experimenting and develop your own play style.

Free Fire Best Weapons Guide: Which is the Right Gun For You?

Garena Free Fire has a lot of guns to choose from, and it can be a daunting task to figure out which one is right for you. That’s why we’ve prepared this handy guide that will take you through the best weapons available in the game and help you choose the perfect one for you based on your preferred play style.

We’ll start off with the decent ones and build up to which ones we think are the absolute best. You will find guns from all the categories here and pick any of them, because ultimately the best weapon for you will be one that you feel the most comfortable using.

MP40

Let’s start off with the MP40. This is hands down the best SMG in Free Fire which is perfect for close-range combat. Thanks to its high rate of fire, it can easily shred through any number of enemies should they dare to come close to you. It’s damage output is pretty good too. It’s very useful for all kinds of players and keeping it in your primary slot will make sure you don’t have to worry about close-range combat.

M1014

If you like using Shotguns, then the M1014 is the best shotgun you’ll find in Free Fire. It is absolutely lethal at close range. With its high damage and decent rate of fire it can make quick work of your enemies without running a sweat. And, it’s pretty easy to find in the battlefield, so even if you don’t normally use shotguns but can’t get your hands on an MP40, the M1014 will make a solid substitute for you.

AWM

The AWM is the best Sniper Rifle in the game. So much so, that simply its name is enough to instill fear in your enemies. Finding it is not an easy task at all, but if you can manage to get your hands on it you should definitely use it because it has incredibly high damage output. It can feel slow but a single shot of this gun can be enough to take your enemy down. So work on your aim and you’ll be killing left and right with the AWM in no time.

M60

The M60 rifle has extremely high damage output. It is a great rifle which you can spray and take down enemies easily because it has low recoil. It’s rate of fire is pretty good too, and that combination makes it a solid option for players who like to spray.

AK47

The AK47 is an assault rifle that needs no introduction at all. This is the favourite weapon of a lot of people because of its high damage. But one issue with this gun is its high recoil, so the best way to use it is with Level 3 attachments. Thanks to the recoild, you have a higher chance of taking headshots using the AK47 which is another reason why people love this gun.

Scar

The SCAR is also a great assault rifle with a high rate of fire. This can deal a lot of damage to your enemies but even this is best used with Level 3 attachments. However, using this is a little easier than the AK47, so you might be able to net kills more easily with the SCAR.

FAMAS

FAMAS is another solid assault rifle whose damage is a little higher than the SCAR. Its rate of fire is pretty good too so if you can find this, we recommend it over the SCAR any day.

M4A1

The M4A1 is the most well-balanced assault rifle you can find in Free Fire. It can be used very effectively even without any attachments, thanks to its high damage, high rate of fire and low recoil. This would be the go-to assault rifle for beginners or people who don’t want to get too much into weapon statistics and just want to have fun running and gunning with their friends.

Groza

The Groza is hands down the best assault rifle you’ll find in Free Fire. The sad part is, that you can only find it in air drops, but it if you, go with it because it’s better than all the other assault rifles. It has a high rate of fire, high damage and very low recoil. So if you can get to an airdrop and loot it, by all means do it because it will be worth it.

M79

The last weapon on our list the M79 grenade launcher. You won’t be able to find this easily in the field, but in case you do, be prepared to literally blow your enemies away. Its damage is unsurprisingly very high, and using it is a piece of cake. If you’re the only person left in your squad and you’re up against teams of 2 or more people, the M79 can be an absolute godsend, because it you can use it well you’ll be able to take multiple people down with a single shot.

These were our picks for the best weapons available in Garena Free Fire. Stay tuned for more weapons guides and other tips and tricks for all your favourite games, and let us know your favourite guns from Free Fire in the comments.

Free Fire Best Guns and Weapon Combos Guide

As we covered in our last guide, Garena Free Fire has a lot of great guns to pick and choose from, and you can have a lot of fun with them depending on your play style. So, in this guide, we’ll talk about what we think are some of the best weapon combinations for your loadout.

AWM + MP40 + M1873 Shotgun

The AWM along with the MP40 is a deadly combination which can make you an unstoppable force at both close-range and long-range combat. Getting your hands on the AWM can be a little tough as you can only find it in airdrops, but if you manage to find one, you can be a killing machine. It’s a deadly weapon at long range, thanks to its high damage output. Since its firing rate is pretty low, you should pair it with a fast firing SMG like the MP40. The MP40 is really good for close-range combat as its high rate of fire can deal a lot of damage. And you can keep the M1873 Shotgun in addition to these two for a bigger advantage in close quarters.

Scar/Famas + MP40 + M1873 Shotgun

The Famas and the MP40 is a very easily obtainable combination in the game. And in case you’re not able to find a Famas, you can use the SCAR rifle in its place too, but we prefer the Famas ourselves. It’s a great rifle with an impressive firing rate, damage and recoil, making it really good at medium to long-range combat. And for close quarters you can choose the MP40. Like before, you can pick the M1873 along with these two guns for its high damage output and you should be good to go.

M4A1 + M1014 + M1873 shotgun

Our favourite rifle in Free Fire is also one that you can get pretty easily, the M4A1. This rifle is perfect even without any attachments and it’s incredibly easy to use. It’s well-balanced, and you can have a lot of fun with it. Pair it up with the M1014 shotgun to help you at close-range combat. It’s the best shotgun in the game, with a high damage output and goes perfectly with the M4A1.

AK47+ M1014

A lot of people absolutely love the AK47 and there’s a simple reason behind that: It has a very high damage output. But handling it is not so easy. If you think you can handle it, then by all means use it, because with Level 3 attachments it can be absolutely lethal. To pair it up, go with the M1014. The AK47 will help you at medium and long-range combat while the M1014 will be perfect for close quarters fighting. If you work on your aim you can take down almost anyone with this combination.

Groza + M79 + M1873 Shotgun

Our last combination is also the deadliest: The Groza paired up with the M79. You can only find them in airdrops. Both of them are the best guns in their own categories, and together they’re deadlier than anything else. The Groza has an extremely high rate of fire and its damage is pretty good too. The recoil is easily manageable and you’ll be able to get some kills with ease.

So, these were our picks for the best gun combinations you can pick aroun in Free Fire. Click here to check out our guide for the best guns in the game, and stay tuned for more guides, and tips and tricks for all your favourite games.

Top 7 Tips To Push Your Rank To Heroic in Free Fire

Pushing your rank in Garena Free Fire can be a daunting task, and getting to Heroic is by no means an easy feat. That’s why we’ve prepared these handy tips to help you get those kills and push your rank to Heroic without a lot of hassle. Without further ado, let’s take a look at them.

1. Run and Gun

The first tip, which is also our favourite and highly useful is about how to get up quickly when you’re in the prone state. Normally, if you go prone and are lying down, it takes some time to get up. But if you didn’t know, there’s a trick that lets you stand up almost immediately. If you press the Run and the Gun buttons together at the same time, your player will stand up instantly and start running. This is a very useful technique in almost any fight where you need to change positions quickly. In some cases, it can even save your life, as you can get up and start running immediately if someone starts firing at you.

2. Play on the edge of the shrink zone

Generally, the shrink zone in Free Fire would be your biggest enemy, but if you play smart, it can actually be pretty helpful for you. To take advantage of the shrink zone, you need to be able to play right at its edge. This will make sure you don’t have to worry about a lot of angles. If you’re in the center, you’ll have to be mindful of all directions and keep looking around all the time, but if you’re at the edge, that won’t be the case. Because most of the time, enemies won’t be able to sneak up on you from the back or the side, giving you some room to breathe. Additionally, you’ll also find a lot of people panicking and running into the safe zone from outside and you’ll be able to pick them off as they’ll be more worried about making it to the safe zone and may not pay much attention to you.

3. Practice with the Sniper to Improve Your Aim

If you want to improve your aim in Free Fire, the best way to about it is by using the Sniper Rifle. You might find it a bit difficult to use it in the beginning, but it’ll be really helpful in the long run. Mainly because with all the other gun, you can hold your aim while spraying and still manage to get some kills. But with the Sniper, each shot counts, so you’ll automatically pay more attention and be more careful while aiming.

4. Keep your close-range weapon as Primary

Always keep a close-ranged weapon on you in the game, for instance a shotgun like the M104, or an SMG, like the MP40. And make sure that your close-range weapon is always in the top slot, as your primary weapon. This will help you in fights when you need to swtich from your grenade or secondary weapon if an enemy suddenly comes right in front of you, increasing your chances to get a kill.

5. Don’t ‘Jumpshoot’

One common mistake that a lot of people make is that they jump while shooting, aka jumpshoot. A lot of times it doesn’t work and instead, makes it easier for the enemy to kill you. When you’re jumping, you can’t move a lot while you’re in the air so it becomes easier for your enemy to aim at you. That’s why we suggest you to stay on the ground and try to kill your opponents as quickly as you can.

6. Aim up when spraying to get headshots

One way to finish your enemies is by getting headshots on them. And an easy way to do that is to aim up while spraying, towards their head. Normally you’ll be tempted to pull down while spraying, but if you hold and try to aim up instead, it can do wonders for your game and net you some quick kills.

7. Play Solo vs Solo To Push Your Rank

If your aim is to get to Heroic and you’re trying to push your rank, the best thing to do is play solo games. This way you won’t have to worry about teammates, whether they’re your own or the enemy squads’. Getting kills will be much easier and you won’t have to take any unnecessary risks.

Following these tips and tricks will hopefully improve your game significantly, helping you reach the Heroic bracket fast. Stay tuned for more Free Fire guides, and don’t forget to check regularly for helpful tips for all your favourite games.

Garena Free Fire Best Graphics Guide For Optimal Performance

Garena Free Fire has a lot of settings and options to play around with before you even get into a match, and if you’re stuck wondering what are the best settings to go with, don’t worry. This guide will provide you a good walkthrough of the settings menu, all its different options and what do to with them. So without further ado, let’s dive into it.

Basic Settings

In the Basic Settings menu, set your Graphics to Standard if you’re using a budget or midrange phone, if you have a high end device, you can set it to Ultra. This will help improve the game’s graphics and you’ll be able to spot the enemies more easily. If you feel like your phone is lagging on the Standard setting, go ahead and set it to Smooth.

For Brightness, we recommend keeping the setting on Very Bright because if the brightness is high, you’ll be able to see your opponents better as you’ll have better vision in darker areas and they won’t be able to hide.

There’s an option for High FPS as well, and if your phone can handle it, keep it on High as it will make your game run smoother and you’ll find it much easier to aim.

It’s best to keep Shadows on Off because it will only reduce your average FPS and in this game, for the most part it won’t even make much of a difference.

If you have a phone with a notch on the screen, turn the Notch option on in the menu.

Finally, for the Mini-Map option, set it to Rotating. This will make sure you never get confused regarding which direction you need to turn to next, or from where you’re being attacked by an enemy. As keeping an eye on your mini-map is important in the game, it’ll come in handy if you always have your bearings.

Free Fire VS COD Mobile, Which One is Better For You?

Garena Free Fire and Call of Duty Mobile look pretty similar at the first glance, but the truth is they can be really far apart from each other. This guide will help you be more familiar with the differences between the two games, so you can figure out which game is better for you according to your preferences and play style.

Let’s start off by talking about the characters.

Characters

Both Free Fire and Call of Duty Mobile give you options to choose from different characters, but even within these there are quite a few differences.

Call of Duty Mobile has characters only in the Battle Royale mode. Each character has its own role, like the medic, whose primary role is to heal and revive the teammates, helping them survive till the end. Then you have the scout, who is helpful in tracking enemies from far off, and the defender, who can place a shield in the battlefield, giving teammates some cover and reducing the incoming damage. These classes are available to everyone, and you can play using any class, depending on what play style you prefer.

Free Fire is a little different in this, the first major difference being that you start off with 2 free characters, and you can continue to unlock more by simply playing the game. You don’t have to spend any money at all. You can even get some characters for free, just for logging into the game. And most of the remaining characters you’ll be able to by using the in-game currency you earn by playing matches. The only issue is that there are a few characters that you can purchase only with diamonds, and for these diamonds, you have to spend real-life money, there’s no other way.

These characters all have their own skills, and you can unlock even more skills for each of them by levelling them up and buying specific skills. Each character has their own unique skills, so if you have a very specific play style, you can focus on unlocking a particular character and give more attention to upgrading it.

Let’s move on and talk about the Battle Royale mode.

Battle Royale

In Call of Duty Mobile, the Battle Royale mode has a total of 100 players in the battlefield, including the player. And you don’t just have to worry about the enemies and the blue zone, as there are also zombies on the map who can kill you if easily if you’re not careful. If you play smart, you can even trick your enemies and use them to your advantage.

As the game has 100 players, the matches can last for a longer time, and you’ll find a lot of different types of loot, ranging from pistols to SMGs to Shotguns and Sniper Rifles.

On the other hand, Free Fire only has a total of 50 players in the Battle Royale mode. This means the matches are a lot shorter. Even the weapon variety is a lot less in Free Fire compared to COD Mobile.

These are some of the major differences between the two games. Now, the question is: Which game should you choose?

If the only mode you want to play is the Battle Royale, it depends on how much time you’re willing to spend in the game. If you’re okay with longer games and want to go against more enemies on bigger maps, then COD Mobile is the game for you, with its huge arsenal of weapons and epic 100 player Battle Royale fights.

But on the other hand, if you don’t want too spend too much time in one match and like to experiment with different characters, skills and play styles, then Free Fire might be better for you. You’ll spend a lot of time unlocking the characters and having fun with them, but the individual matches will be comparatively shorter.

If you want to try modes other than just Battle Royale, then you don’t need to look further than COD Mobile. In addition to the Battle Royale, it has the classic Call of Duty multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination and Search and Destroy, all of which have a different taste and are incredibly fun.

PUBG VS Free Fire – Which One is For You?

PUBG Mobile and Free Fire are two of the most popular games on smartphones right now, and if you’re planning to get into either of them, trying to figure out which one suits you the most might not be very easy to do. That’s why we’ve prepared this guide comparing the two games to help you out. Let’s see what both games have to offer, shall we?

Characters

Free Fire has a lot of characters. You start off with two free characters and can unlock more as you play. Most of the characters can be unlocked by normally progressing through the game. You can even buy them, should you choose, and some can even be obtained via login bonus. But some characters are locked behind a paywall in that you need to buy them with diamonds, which in turn are purchased with real-world currency.

Additionally, each character in Free Fire has their unique skill or ability. And you can unlock more by leveling up the character. Depending on your playstyle, you can level up the corresponding skills and double down on it.

On the other hand, PUBG Mobile is quite simple. The battle royale mode has no character system. Everyone has the same character, though you can change the appearance. Everyone starts out the same and there are no skills to unlock. There are characters in the Evo mode, but they can’t be used in the Battle Royale.

The Battle Royale Mode

PUBG has made battle royale the most popular game mode in India and a lot of other countries. In PUBG Mobile’s Battle Royale mode, 100 players drop on a map and the aim is to be the last man or the last squad standing. It’s a simple concept: escape from the Blue Zone, kill your enemies, stay away from the red areas and survive till the end.

In Free Fire, there are only 50 players in a match, and the map is much smaller. So not only do the matches are shorter, you can get into combat much faster because of the smaller map.

Both games have a pretty good variety of weapons, skins and attachments. So which one should you go for?

Even people who are not really into gaming are somewhat familiar with PUBG Mobile. So if you’re just looking to dabble into games with your friends, PUBG Mobile is your best bet as you can easily find people to play with and chances are some of your friends are already playing it. Additionally, PUBG Mobile has a much bigger esports scene right now, so you can even take part in tournaments should you want to.

On the other hand, Free Fire has a lot of unique things to add to the battle royale formula, like characters. The matches are shorter and fast-paced, unlike PUBG where one game can take a while. With the different skills and weapons, you can experiment a lot more in Free Fire, especially if you like trying out different playstyles.

In the end, irrespective of which game you pick, you can always take part in the tournaments for it on GamingMonk.
