Free Fire has a huge amount of in-game skins, new outfits as well as playable characters to unlock. The majority of these items can be purchased from the in-game store using diamonds. But not everyone is willing to spend diamonds so the other way is using redeem codes to obtain these items for free.
The codes consist of twelve alphanumeric characters. They are released in short spans of time and enable players to get rare skins and other cosmetic items. But how do you redeem them? This article will provide step by step instruction on how to do just that.
Open a web browser and go to “reward.ff.garena.com”. Or just click here.
Login to the website using your Google/VK/Facebook?Huawei ID.
Enter all the details including the Redeem Code and your ID. Click on Confirm.
The items will be sent to the vault section in Free Fire where you can use them.
Every code has a specific limit for redemption and once that limit has been exceeded you have no choice but to wait for the next set of codes.
Free Fire contains a wide array of attachments for all the guns available for use in the game. When it comes to scopes, it’s mostly personal preference but it seems that some scopes are better than others and offer more accuracy as well as visibility. In this article, we’ll take you through some of the best scopes available in the game across different distances.
Red Dot – The classic red dot sight is one of the best scopes in Free Fire and excellent for close to mid-range combat. It’s easy to come across and supports numerous guns. It has very high visibility due to it being very simple and minimalist. It allows for extremely precise shots as well as the ability magnification.
2x Scope – Best suited for mid-range combat, the 2x scope is also a favourite of many players and the precision sight picture makes it one of the cleanest scopes in the game. If you can get your hands on it, do use it and I promise you’ll love it.
4x Scope – Ideal for long-range combat, just attach it to your favourite sniper to take out your enemies with flair and ease. You can also attach it to your favourite AR and shred enemies at mid-range with ease. The 4x scope is much harder to come by than a 2x or red dot.
Thermal Scope – Although it’s not as widely used as the other scopes on this list, the thermal scope is still highly suited for aggressive players who want to take out campers/ The thermal optics make it extremely easy to detect campers. It does not offer as powerful a magnification as the 4x scope so keep that in mind before rocking it.
8x Scope – The most powerful scope in the game when it comes to magnification, the 8x scope can be used to take out enemies at extreme ranges. It’s only attachable to snipers and offers high precision at those long ranges. Though it’s really rare to come by, the scope has a wide appeal among professional snipers in the game. It’s usually good to have it during early game fights when the circle is big because it’s practically useless at mid to close range battles.
For newer and even seasoned players, movement speed makes a gargantuan amount of difference in-game. It is as important as your HP and damage. In Free Fire, the characters don’t have any HP differences but movement speed does vary. A faster movement speed allows for quicker flanks, quicker escapes, and quicker looting.
Kelly – Known as ‘Free Fire’s Sprinter’, Kelly’s dash ability gives you a 6% increase in movement speed which can be critical. It is rather weak when compared to the other characters in the game but nonetheless, she deserves a mention in this list. Kelly was one of the first characters added to the game which can explain this situation.
Caroline – Caroline has one of the better abilities in Free Fire. Her movement speed is increased by 8% whenever she’s rocking a shotgun and we have already explained to you the difference shotguns can make in your game here. If you’re planning to use the M1887, Caroline might just be your best bet.
Alok – Hands down one of the best characters in the game, Alok is overpowered which is mainly due to his ability called ‘Drop the beat.’ When active, this ability increases the running speed of Alok and his teammates within a 5-meter radius by 15% for 10 seconds. Honestly, just use Alok.
Joseph – He is the fastest character in the game. The catch is that he cannot activate his ability voluntarily. The ‘Nutty Movement’ passive ability increases Joseph’s movement speed by 20%, which way faster than any other character in the game. When you’re outside the safe zone, you can constantly use this to close in to the safe zone.
Free Fire has a wide array of weapons available for players to use, but not all weapons are created evil, and one of the most important factors to consider while choosing your loadout is whether you play aggressively or passively. If you’re a more passive player and prefer to gain an advantage by taking out players before they see i.e you prefer mid to long-range combat then there are some guns to which are better than others. In this article, we’ll list down the best guns in Free Fire for long-range combat.
SCAR – The SCAR is one of the most beginner-friendly weapons in the game. It has low recoil and a high rate of fire which makes it effective at mid-range and sometimes even long range if you use burst fire. Remember to equip it with attachments to suit your needs and playstyle better.
AWM – The best sniper in the game by a huge margin, the AWM is ideal for players who are comfortable in very long-range engagements. It comes with a pre-attached 8x scope to take out enemies with ease. Also, it’s a one-hit kill if you manage to get a headshot. The only catch is that this weapon can only be obtained from drops.
AK – The AK has high damage and good range which makes it an effective weapon during mid to long-range combat. It has high recoil but the high damage and rate of fire more than make up for it. In the right hands, this is one of the deadliest weapons in the game.
If you’re wondering why you’re unable to win those close-range gunfights and you get downed before you even get a chance to react, try switching up your weapons and maybe make the switch to SMGs or shotguns to destroy people within range.
Most of you are well acquainted with the various ARs and Snipers in Free Fire but don’t rock a short-range option in your arsenal. If you’re looking for some good options, we’ve got you covered:-
MP5 – One of the best SMGs in the game, the MP5 is an absolute beast when used in close range combat. Its high rate of fire coupled with decent DPS makes it the go-to weapon for many good players. The low recoil is an added bonus. There are various attachments available in order to increase mobility, accuracy, etc.
M1014 – This shotty is a monster when it comes to close-quarters battles. Even though many people find shotguns cumbersome due to the high reload times, this one allows you to unload six shells before having to reload which if done correctly is more than enough to kill an enemy.
MP40 – If your go-to strategy is spraying and praying then the MP40 just might be the most ideal weapon for you. The weapon boasts of the highest rate of fire in Free Fire which makes it a beast when circumstances are dire. It also has a snappy reload mechanism along with a large enough magazine to take care of anyone who stands in your way.
Free Fire just like other battle royale games offers players over 40 weapons to choose from but not all weapons were made equal. Some guns give you a tactical advantage over your enemies. They also provide you with better options as to how to engage with your opponents. Read part one of this guide here.
If you like using Shotguns, then the M1014 is the best shotgun you’ll find in Free Fire. With its high damage, it is absolutely lethal at close range. It also has a decent rate of fire which can make quick work of your enemies without running a sweat. Additionally, it’s pretty easy to find on the battlefield, so even if you don’t normally use shotguns it will make for a viable weapon until you find other weapons on this list.
The AK47 is an assault rifle that needs no introduction at all. This is the favorite weapon of a lot of people because of its high damage. But one issue with this gun is its high recoil, so the best way to use it is with Level 3 attachments. Thanks to the recoil, you have a higher chance of taking headshots if you are used to the weapon, which is another reason why people love this gun.
The SCAR is also a great assault rifle with a high rate of fire. It can deal a lot of damage to your enemies but even this is best used with Level 3 attachments. However, using this is a little easier than the AK47, so you might be able to net kills more easily with the SCAR.
This is hands down the best SMG in Free Fire which is perfect for close-range combat. Thanks to its high rate of fire, it can easily shred through any number of enemies should they dare to come close to you. Its damage output is pretty good too. It’s very useful for all kinds of players and keeping it in your primary slot will make sure you don’t have to worry about close-range combat.
he latest update in Garena Free Fire – the OB24 update, also referred to as the BOOYAH Day update is now available to download. It introduced a slew of new features including new weapons as well as quality of life improvements. A detailed overview of the same is available here. Two new weapons have been added to the game including the PARAFAL Assault Rifle which looks like it’s going to be used a lot.
The PARAFAL’s specs sound as if it’s looking to replace your sniper because it has a high DPS and a low rate of fire. A few shots should be enough to take out your enemy but if you miss even one shot, you could be in trouble as it’s not a very mobile gun to say the least. Couple this with the fact that it has a low fire rate makes it situational- just like your sniper rifles.
The exact stats and some details such as reload time have not yet been completely revealed by the developers so we’ll have to wait for that but some info is available below.
Magazine Size: 30
Rate of Fire: 0.245
Attachments: Muzzle, Stock, Magazine, Grip and Scope
The gun will be available for use in the Classic and Clash Squad modes. Do try out the gun and tell us whether it’s goin to result in a new meta or is just going to be used passively by a few players.
Free Fire just like other battle royale games offers players over 40 weapons to choose from but not all weapons were made equal. Some guns give you a tactical advantage over your enemies. They also provide you with better options as to how to engage with your opponents. Read part two of this guide here.
The Groza is hands down the best assault rifle you’ll find in Free Fire. The sad part is, that you can only find it in airdrops, but if you do find it, go with it because it’s better than all the other assault rifles.
It has a high rate of fire, high damage, and very low recoil. So if you can get to the airdrop and loot it, by all means, do it because it will definitely be worth it.
FAMAS is another solid assault rifle whose damage is a little higher than the SCAR. Its rate of fire is pretty good too so if you can find this, we recommend it over the SCAR any day. It is also the only burst fire weapon in the game.
Due to its ability to one tap, the FAMAS has great accuracy and damage. However, In the right hands, the FAMAS is the best assault rifle in the game and possibly the best weapon in the game.
You won’t be able to find the M79 easily in the field, but in case you do, be prepared to literally blow your enemies away. Its damage is unsurprisingly very high, and using it is a piece of cake.
If you’re the only person left in your squad and you’re up against teams of 2 or more people, the M79 can be an absolute godsend. If you can use it well you’ll be able to take multiple people down with a single shot.
The AWM is the best Sniper Rifle in the game. So much so, that simply its name is enough to instill fear in your enemies. Finding it is not an easy task at all, but if you can manage to get your hands on it you should definitely use it because it has incredibly high damage output.
It can feel slow but a single shot of this gun can be enough to take your enemy down. So work on your aim and you’ll be killing left and right with the AWM in no time.

After the ban of 118 Chinese apps including PUBG Mobile, many are left wondering about the possibility of games like Free Fire also being banned by the government. Players have been looking towards alternative games such as COD Mobile, Free Fire, Fortnite, and many more to fill up that void left by PUBG. One of the major outliers here is definitely Free Fire.
There have been many reports of the game being considered for a ban and having connections to China. While in reality, it is highly unlikely for Free Fire to get banned in India.
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE GAME
The game is developed by a Vietnamese app development company called 111dots Studio and it is published worldwide by a Singapore-based organization called Garena. The current CEO of Garena Free Fire is Forrest Li who was born in China, however, he is currently a permanent citizen of Singapore.
However, it seems Tencent is one of the major stakeholders of Garena’s parent company is Sea Limited, which has its headquarters in Singapore. Previously, the Chinese conglomerate had a 39.7% share in Free Fire’s parent company while now it only has a 25.6% share in Sea Limited.
CAN FREE FIRE GET BANNED
The main reason for the government to ban an app is if its a Chinese origin app which is in suspicion of leaking user data to the Chinese government. In Free Fire’s case, one of its major stakeholders is a Chinese company such as Tencent who has seen many of its apps being banned.
Despite that, the actual development and publishing of the game are handled by 111dots Studio and Garena respectively both of which are not associated with the Chinese government.
