Apex Legends Out now for PC, Xbox One and PS4

Conquer with character in Apex Legends, a free-to-play Battle Royale shooter where legendary characters with powerful abilities team up to battle for fame and fortune on the fringes of the Frontier. Master an ever-growing roster of diverse Legends, deep tactical squad play and bold new innovations that level up the Battle Royale experience—all within a rugged world where anything goes. Welcome to the next evolution of Battle Royale.

Key Features
• A Roster of Legendary Characters – Master a growing roster of powerful Legends, each with their own unique personality, strengths and abilities that are easy to pick up but challenging to truly master.

• Build Your Crew – Choose your Legend and combine their unique skills together with other players to form the ultimate crew.

• Strategic Battle Royale – Use your abilities–and your wits–to make strategic calls on the fly, adapting your crew’s strengths to meet new challenges as the match evolves.

• Genre-Evolving Innovation – Experience a brand-new array of innovative features that level up the Battle Royale genre, including Respawn Beacons, Smart Comms, Intelligent Inventory and an all-new way to drop into the action with Jumpmaster deployment.

• Sweet, Sweet Loot – Drop in and loot up with a host of powerful weapons, diverse attachments and useful armor to protect you in battle. After the fight, collect a wealth of cosmetic options for personalizing your character and weapons, and unlock new ways to show off during the match.

The game lacks the Titans from the Titanfall series and also lacks the wall-running and double jumping which is a bit of a shame but with character classes that have unique abilities, it makes the game so much more interesting on a tactical level, so much so that your playstyle will depend on your class and that of your team.

The game has already had a million unique players in under 8 hours from launch and hopefully, the momentum of the game keeps rolling and maybe one day we will see the addition of Titans when they figure out how to balance it.

Apex Legends a Free Titanfall Battle Royale Game To Release on 4th Feb

Titanfall never really got the limelight it should have with its incredible movement and shooting but that might change thanks to Apex Legends.

Apex Legends is an upcoming free to play Battle Royale game set in the Titanfall universe and uses the same mechanics as it. While not much is known about Apex Legends at this point, we know that they’re going to reveal it tonight at 9:30PM IST/
4PM GMT on the official Apex Legends Twitch channel.

The fact that it is a Battle Royale Shooter has been confirmed by Geoff Keighley, creator of The Game Awards. What is surprising is that the game will not only be announced today, it is also set to release today itself after the official reveal according to sources.

The game will have loot boxes and microtransactions present but those will only be for cosmetic items. The game will also have up to 3 players in a team with a total of 60 players on a single server.

Former CSGO professional and famous Twitch streamer Shroud has already had a chance to play the game along with other streamers and content creators as seen above from the tweet by Myth, a professional Fortnite Battle Royale Player and Twitch Streamer.

The Titanfall games have always had mediocre sales and not a lot of activity in the multiplayer front even though the core gameplay and mechanics are really solid and offers fluidity like no other shooter out there. Not to mention the fact that you can also use powered up Titans to fight other Titans while other Pilots duke it out around them.

Maybe the free to play model will help the game have a stable player base and in the future include even more game modes. If they manage to improve on the mechanics of the previous two games for this title, this game could really match Blackout in terms of chaos and fun but I doubt they’ll change much besides ajdusting for the Battle ROyale game mode.

The Live stream will begin at 9:30PM IST/ 4PM GMT on the official Apex Legends Twitch Channel. Apex Legends is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
