Crytek has finally announced a release date for their multiplayer monster hunting title, Hunt: Showdown. The game is set to leave Early Access and release on August 27th, 2019 for Xbox and PC. PlayStation players will have to wait a bit more as the game will release in Fall of this year for them.
“Developing a game alongside such a passionate community has been so rewarding. It has taken us in new directions, and really inspired us to put everything we have into Hunt,” said Lead Hunt Producer Fatih Özbayram. “Now the time has come for the full release, and we couldn’t be more excited. We won’t forget the support this community has given us.”
Additionally, everyone who purchased Hunt: Showdown before August 27th will be awarded an exclusive Legendary Weapon Skin,Caldwell Conversion Chainpistol “The Benefactor”.
Sadly on the release date, all account stats will be wiped except Prestige levels. This includes K/D, ELO, Bloodline Rank, money, hunters, stored equipment, etc. Prestige levels will not be wiped and will carry on to full release.
The game will be available for 39.99 EUR/USD digitally and physically and releases on August 27th for the Xbox One and PC.
