CD Projekt Red are now known for their open-world RPG gameplay and quest prowess thanks to their effort on The Witcher 3 and now they will further show this to us with Cyberpunk 2077.
The Witcher 3, one of the best open-world RPG games of our time had amazing quest lines which could lead to multiple endings depending on the choices that you make in the game. CDPR seems to once again give players a similar experience in Cyberpunk 2077.
At E3, Youtuber YongYea spoke to Quest Director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz who confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will have multiple endings. This makes sense considering the fact that they’re aiming to give players the utmost freedom in terms of how they approach and play the game. You can apparently finish the whole game without killing a single person which I hope has some sort of impact on the ending.
Cyberpunk 2077 is based on the Role-Playing Tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020 which gives players a lot of freedom with how they approach situations and is one of the most important gameplay elements. New dialogue and methods to do a mission open up depending on your character build and skills and the same mechanic has been carried over to Cyberpunk 2077.
Even your augmentations are optional besides the first two that you get at the start of the game. You can play the whole game without getting any more augments if you would like to keep yourself physically more human.
Cyberpunk 2077 looks to be very promising and we can’t wait for April 16th, 2020 when the game releases so that we can be BFFs with Keanu Reeves.
