Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated games of the current generation and maybe even of this decade and there’s actual proof of it, besides the countless tweets and posts about the game.
As of this moment, Cyberpunk 2077 is top of both the Steam Top Sellers list and GOG’s Best Selling Chart. After the release date dropped during Microsoft’s E3 conference on 8th June, the game was up for pre-order on various retailers.
Since then, it has topped the charts with what most probably is a huge amount of preorders. It’s not a surprise considering the hype surrounding the game and how amazing their E3 showing was with Keanu Reeves showing up and revealing that he’s in the game. The game is still quite a long time away from releasing but that hasn’t stopped people from pre-ordering the game.
Even people who have sworn to never pre-order games have broken their personal oath simply because of their faith in CD Projekt Red and with how every single showing of the game so far has been extremely positive.
Even the extremely expensive Collector’s Edition that costs £249.99 or INR 19,999 has already sold out in a lot of regions like Germany and Sweden.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16th, 2020 for the Xbox One family of consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Pro, and the PC.
