RTX Graphics Cards Officially Launched at NVIDIA Gamer Connect Coimbatore

NVIDIA Gamer Connect was held in Coimbatore last Sunday, and man, was it a blast. From new games to the latest RTX cards, it drew a huge crowd of 2000 people,  including tech fans and gamers from all over the country.

The biggest attraction was of course, the highly anticipated RTX GPUs, which were officially launched at the event. We got to test out the RTX 2080Ti and RTX 2080 running Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Middle Earth: Shadow of War on 4K displays, showing off an impressive performance.


Gamers also got to experience the best hardware available and played games like PUBG, Fortnite, FIFA 19, WWE 2K19, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Crew 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Rainbow Six: Siege.

Dell, LG and Zotac, Gamer Connect partners; were present as well, displaying their latest products, adding to the event’s appeal. Gamer Connect truly showcased the power of NVIDIA’s top of the line GeForce RTX graphic cards, cutting-edge gaming laptops by Dell and gaming monitors by LG.



The event also marked 22nd birthday for Dell Alienware, making it one of the oldest brands when it comes to PC gaming. The audience burst into a jolly Happy Birthday song as the team cut the cake, which was then relished by the crowd.


In the last 3 years, NVIDIA has conducted many Gamer Connects in focused gaming communities across 20 cities which has helped them connect with more than 20,000 gaming enthusiasts. Through Gamer Connect, NVIDIA wants to reach out to gamers across the country and provide them with the best gaming experience.

Out of an estimated 16 million gamers in India, a large portion reside in Tier II and III cities. These striking numbers clearly indicate the potential of the sector, both from business and community building perspective.
