Stardew Valley, one of the best games to play when you want to take a break and relax is finally making its way to Android on 14th March.
Stardew Valley originally released on PC and is a game that is heavily inspired by Harvest Moon. However, Stardew Valley’s gameplay and world captivated people to such an extent that the game instantly became a hit and got released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch and iOS.
All that remains is the Android platform and it is great to see that it will finally make its way to it. Sadly, the Android version will lack the multiplayer features that are present on the Switch at launch and there’s no confirmation if it will be added later.
For those who don’t know what Stardew Valley is, it is a game where you quit your desk job to move to your grandfather’s farm in a small town to build up his farm. While there you meet a host of characters that live in and around the town, explore the various locations like caves and forests while also learning more about each character and building up your farm.
The beauty of the game is that you can approach the game however you want. You can sit back and focus on your farm or go out and fight the different monsters in the caves. You can decide whether or not you want to help the people of the town and are not forced or obligated to do anything.
