Fall Guys Coming To Mobile?

Ever since its release some time ago Fall Guys have been at the top of the trending list breaking all kinds of records. This small game from an indie developer has overtaken Youtube and Twitch completely. It’s a game which can be closely compared to Takeshi’s Castle which already sounds quite fun but now the game is coming to your nearest smartphones.

However, the developers have clarified that, “Chinese games and entertainment company Bilibili has secured the rights to publish a mobile version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in China.”

No one knows when the game will be made available outside of the Chinese market. Seeing as the game is immensely popular and a viral sensation it makes sense the game will be made available to a bigger audience sooner or later down the line.

Fall Guys is a game which is perfect for mobile as it requires simple controls unlike Pubg which fills the screen with buttons. The simplistic battle royale game supports up to 60 players in a series of mini-game matches where you jump, dive and grab your way to victory. Players are eliminated pretty quickly resulting in the rounds being short and quick, making it a perfect game for playing on the go.

There’s currently no word on when the mobile version be released in China but the developer says that they would love to bring the game to more platforms down the line. Considering how this is a game from an indie studio it can take a while to make a mobile version for the game.

Top 5 Mobile Games You Didn’t Know About

There are a surprisingly good number of awesome mobile games available on both the iOS and Android platforms. However, it’s not always easy to dig through the clutter and discover these gems. Well, we’re here to help. Here are the top 5 mobile games you probably did not know about, and should definitely play.

1. Vandals

Score – 8.5/10 | Platform – Android/iOS

Vandals is an infiltration game that will transport you to the most emblematic cities of street art. In this turn-based game, the aim is to sneak around police surveillance and spray walls that grow harder and harder to access.

From Paris to Tokyo, via São Paulo, Berlin and New York, follow in the wake of ultra-famous street artists like Blek Le Rat and Keith Haring.
With Vandals, you can bomb your alias on the walls of New York like Lady Pink, paint childlike characters like Keith Haring, or get inspired by the poems of Miss.Tic and write your own.

2. Bombarika

Score – 8.0/10 | Platform – Android/iOS

Experience the fun of saving various houses in the world of BOMBARIKA. The game starts with a Classic Bomb, which randomly drops in one particular place in the house. Most of the objects come alive in the game to help save the house from the destruction (while the humans are oblivious). Every object has different characteristics, such as pushing and blocking. Using these objects looks easy, but finding the exit in little time makes the game challenging. A variety of bombs and power-ups can be unlocked by RIKAS (collectibles) in the shop. Duplex houses, hidden rooms, multiple bombs in a single level, bonus levels, and many more fun things can be experienced in the higher levels. Simple, minimalist levels will bring happiness, joy, and calm when playing BOMBARIKA.

3. Mini Metro

Score – 7/10 | Platform – Android/iOS

Mini Metro is a minimalistic subway layout game. Your small city starts with only three unconnected stations. Your task is to draw routes between the stations to connect them with subway lines. Everything but the line layout is handled automatically; trains run along the lines as quickly as they can, and the commuters decide which trains to board and where to make transfers.

4. Lichtspeer.

Score – 8.5/10 | Platform – Android/iOS/PlayStation

In a land filled with Penguin Vikings, Wurst Zombies, and Hipster Ice Giants, survival is an art. Fortunately, an ancient champion with an elegant weapon has been summoned to please the gods and restore balance to the universe.

Grab your lightspear, become a Germonaut and traverse through lands straight out of Germanic myths. Survive with style and expand your powers to fight for the glory and amusement of the almighty gods.

5. Ridiculous Fishing

Score – 7.5/10 | Platform – iOS

Players cast a fishing line into the ocean and use motion controls to avoid fish as the hook sinks and to catch as many fish as possible as the reel retracts. Players then touch the screen to shoot fish out of the sky for money that can be spent on upgrades. Nijman developed the idea during a television show about tuna fishermen.

Mobile Games To Check Out: Exploding Kittens

Exploding Kittens is an extremely fun card game that has been turned into an app. While the name does sound quite cruel and evil, it really isn’t. As you’ll soon find out, the true evil was within you all along. Exploding Kittens is Russian Roullete but with cards that are full of adorable cats and sometimes other cute creatures. Your task is to be the last person alive and to do that you might have to screw over your friends more than just a couple of times.

Exploding Kittens’ gameplay is quite simple and takes less than 5 minutes to understand. All the cards have their uses described perfectly so there’s never really any confusion. There’s a draw pile of cards kept face down that every player must draw from at the end of their turn. This draw pile contains multiple Exploding Kitten cards. If you draw that you must defuse it with the help of a Defuse card. If you don’t have a defuse card, say your final rights and prepare to lose. You can still screw with your friends though as you get to choose where to put the Exploding Kitten card that just caused your demise without your friends knowing. If you were lucky enough to have a defuse card, you can defuse it and then place the Exploding Kitten card in your preferred spot so that you can have the tactical advantage. Oh, and the mobile version has a percentage meter that shows the chances of drawing an Exploding Kitten card based on the number of cards left in the draw pile. Don’t depend on it too much though because it can lull you into a false sense of security. In case you’re still confused about how the game works, here’s a video by the creators themselves that explains it.

And that’s how simple the game really is. While it does seem luck based there are strategies that you can employ that maximizes the chance of other players picking up the Exploding Kitten card. I know this because my lovely friends are all strategic Gods and will ruin your life with the right set of cards. Things never really get boring because you can always use new packs to further enhance your “enjoyment” that will later turn wherever you are into a salt mine. Oh, and if your friends are “busy” and they can’t play with you, you can always join a random online lobby and play with strangers while spamming your characters voice options. They’ve also added a new single-player feature so you can play with the CPU to get a hang of the game or to just practice. This game is also cross-platform so you can play with your iPhone friends from your Android device or vice-versa and everybody can have a jolly good time. If you’re winning that is.

Seriously though, this is an extremely fun game that’s great at parties and during any sort of small downtime that can help liven things up and I highly recommend that you check it out and give the game a try.
