Warzone: How to win

Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the hottest battle-royale games on the market right now. This free to play game by Activision has amassed a huge number of players since its release. Recently Season 5 was released which resulted in a huge surge in concurrent players. Also, with Activision confirming that Warzone will be tied in closely with future Call of Duty titles, it seems that the game is here to stay.

Like any other Battle Royale, Warzone requires a thorough and tactical approach in order to win games. In this article, we’ll cover some essential tips to improve your game and win more:-

Money Money Money – The cash system in Warzone is one of the most unique aspects of the game which allows one to buy self-revive kits, armor plates, UAVs, and also re-deploy their teammates. Try to have a balanced amount of cash within your team so that if one dies there isn’t a huge loss of cash. Take on contracts early game so that you can horde cash in order to buy a loadout drop, self revive, and UAVs, precisely in that order.

Bounties – Bounties are basically free information as they reveal the location of a nearby squad. Even if you don’t plan on killing the target, you can use it to track enemy movements. Either way, it’s a win-win. After completing a scavenger contract early game, try to get more bounty contracts.

Customize your loadout- If you’ve carried on your loadout from the base game, well and good but in order to maximize your chances of winning a gunfight you need to have the best weapons at your disposal. Try to unlock more attachments so that you’re not at a disadvantage during a fight. There are loadout drops available using which you can get your loadouts and perks which may make or break the fight.

Communicate- It is absolutely necessary for you and your teammates to communicate with each other during the game. Call out enemy locations, their stance(if they are camping), the gun which they are using if it’s possible to make it out, and the number of enemies you spotted. This requires you to use the in-game voice chat or third party software like Discord and TeamSpeak.

Mind the circle- Staying completely at the edge of the circle is not recommended as there may be enemy teams waiting for you inside. A good technique is to stay 1/4th of the way in so that you can take out enemies trying to get inside the circle. The ring is just far too virulent for you to stay completely at the edge.

Fight early and often- Don’t play the game too cautiously as you never know when enemies get a jump on you. Try to get into more firefights as it’ll really improve your skills in the long run. Especially, early game when enemies are busy looting, you surprise them with a very aggressive play. Try to hunt the rabbit, not be the rabbit.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 5: Everything you need to know

Season 5 of Call of Duty Warzone kicks off with a bang, bringing with it major changes to the map, new battle pass, new weapons, new multiplayer maps, new game modes and much more. The new season also shows us the rise of the Shadow company adding on the game’s narrative and lore, it also introduces us to new operators like Rozlin “Roze” Helms (formerly Jackals), Velikan, and Marcus “Lerch” Ortega, the Company’s leader.

New Modes, Weapon Changes, and More Updates to Warzone

Mini Royale mode: A fast paced version of the classic Battle Royale mode. This mode drops the player count deployed and only the first and last five minutes of a normal BR game. Meaning rapid deployment, constant movement, and high-kill strategies set to yield victories that are both short and sweet.

New Weapon Rotation: Weapons discovered in supply crates have been updated. Adding 8 Common, 13 Uncommon, 15 Rare, 19 Epic, and 25 Legendary variants to find throughout Verdansk.

Wartracks: A new customizable for vehicles is being added via the battle pass. Players will now be able Jam out to some sweet MW tunes while you’re cruising through Verdansk. You and your whole squad will be able to listen to these sick tunes when you are driving. All three tracks are instantly unlocked when you purchase the Battle Pass.

Warzone map changes

Verdansk stadium opens up: After being closed for four seasons Verdansk stadium is finally open by the courtesy of the shadow company as they announce their presence in an explosive, roof-based insertion. The stadium now includes a full football pitch, rows of seats, underground parking structure, a concession stand lobby and multiple interior concourses and field.

A new Freight Train added: A hulking freight train is now looping across the southwestern part of Verdansk. The train rolls through one of the main arterial railroad tracks that circumnavigates the southwestern part of Verdansk in a large loop. It now provides an interesting dynamic to all players who want to catch a ride and claim it for themselves.

Train station opens up: What’s a train without a station to stop at, as operators will get interior access to the Verdansk station. The station buildings feature a number of inside locations to explore; all linked to the main ticket hall and platforms.

Exterior Ascenders added: Operators can now access tall buildings and structures through the help of the newly added ascenders. These give players a tactical and height advantage over their enemy from a different angle, and with more haste than ever before.

Modern Warfare Content:

New Free Maps

Livestock – Gunfight: A rural compound set around a central barn structure. It has multiple flank routes that take you in and around the barn, designed primarily for quick close-quarter combat.

Petrov Oil Rig – 6v6: A sprawling, operational oil rig in the middle of frigid waters. The map is divided into five distinct sections- lifeboat muster area, helicopter pad, bridge, cafeteria and rig drill. Designed for close to mid-range combat while also giving some advantage to marksman and sniper rifles.

Suldal Harbor – 6v6: Set in a Middle Eastern harbor, this medium-sized 6v6 Multiplayer map has Operators weaving through a variety of dockside structures and scenery, including shipping areas, fish markets, and weather-beaten administrative buildings. Gameplay is more dependent on fighting between choke points.

Verdansk International Airport – Ground war: Part of the Verdansk map, the zone encompasses the airport interior, parking garage, adjacent apartment complex and subway entrance, as well as the hangars along the eastern edge of the map.

New Multiplayer Modes and Missions

Bare Bones: A rotation of TDM, Domination, HQ, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed albeit with one important distinction: There are no Killstreaks, no Field Upgrades, and no perks.

Search and Destroy Double Down: A classic Search and Destroy but the stakes are higher as this is a 12v12, not the usual 6v6.

Season Five Missions and Challenges: Over a dozen new Mastery Challenges have been added across Warzone and Multiplayer for only the most elite players

New Battle Pass

Instant Access: At tier 0 players will have instant access to new operator: Lerch, Shadow Company, 3 new Wartracks, Rodion Operator Skin and Mission, and a 10% XP boost that lasts the duration of the Season.

New Weapons: The Season Five Battle Pass system enables you to obtain two new weapons: the ISO SMG (Tier 15) and the AN-94 assault rifle (Tier 31) that all players in Modern Warfare including Warzone can earn for free, just for playing the game.

Battle Pass Tier 100: Reaching the 100th of the battle pass awards the “Rook” skin for Roze, as well as “The Veil” vehicle skin, and The Company’s Might, an Assault Rifle Lima with negative tracer rounds.

New Operators in Store

Velikan (Allegiance / Shadow Company): A shadow of a shadow. Tales of his exploits are written off as fairytales at best, and gross exaggerations at worst. Those who know him never speak ill of him. Whether it’s due to fear or respect, no one knows.

Morte (Coalition / Warcom): A skilled tracker who loves the Old West and strongly adheres to his own rules regarding right and wrong. Served with the legendary Colonel Moschin paratrooper regiment in Italy before being selected to join Warcom.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets NVIDIA Ansel Support

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the critically-acclaimed first-person shooter, will feature NVIDIA Ansel and NVIDIA Highlights at launch, along with real-time ray-traced shadows and NVIDIA Adaptive Shading. Activision also announced the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC system requirements for a variety of configurations and use cases.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets NVIDIA Ansel and Highlights

GeForce Experience is the essential companion to your GeForce graphics card, giving you tools that enhance your gaming experience, and enable new ways to interact with your favorite titles. Two of those tools will be available to GeForce gamers playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Ansel and Highlights.

Ansel is a powerful photo mode that enables you to take amazing in-game photos on PC during the Campaign from unique angles, which you can further customize with filters, tweaks, and other adjustments, before being optionally shared on social media, forums, or the Shot With GeForce website.

Highlights automatically captures videos of key moments, clutch kills, and match-winning plays, ensuring that your best multiplayer gaming moments are automatically saved, which you can easily share online.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Graphics Reach New Heights

As the Official PC Partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, NVIDIA worked side by side with Activision and Infinity Ward to take the graphics in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to never before seen levels. NVIDIA, Infinity Ward and Activision are working together to bring real-time ray tracing, NVIDIA Adaptive Shading, NVIDIA Ansel and Highlights to the game.

Real-time ray tracing is changing the way games are created and dramatically increases the image quality they can achieve.

NVIDIA Adaptive Shading is a new, advanced shading technique that enables developers to improve performance and achieve a real-time visual fidelity previously impossible in games. By adjusting the rate at which portions of the screen is shaded, the technology reduces the work the GPU has to do, which boosts performance without denigrating image quality.

System Requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can be viewed on the Activision blog here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Story Trailer Showcases How War Has Changed

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open Beta hooked in a lot of players but the latest Story Trailer has just helped propel that hype.

The story trailer showcases Captain Price as he and the SAS squad join forces with the CIA to help a fictional country in the Middle-East that has been ravaged by a Civil War. And now, they’ve got chemical weapons that can lead to a global war.

It’s up to Captain Price and his squad to stop that from happening but going in the dark and doing the dirty work that the others don’t want to or can’t do. It seems like characters from the original Modern Warfare trilogy may be making a return with many people hoping for Soap, Ghost, and Roach to comeback in some form.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on 25th October for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

All You Need to Know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Reveal Tonight

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the most looked forward to first-person shooters and the hype for this game keeps building as we inch closer to the release date and get tidbits of information. The multiplayer reveal is tonight at 10:30PM IST which means we can expect a lot of new info.

However, we have information from someone who claims to have been at the Multiplayer Event and they decided to do an impromptu AMA(Ask Me Anything) about the Multiplayer aspect of the game.

Reddit User PotatoA1mz  seemed extremely excited about the game and loved every moment of the game and go on to say that the game is a 10/10. They were also really taken aback with the plethora of customization each weapon had.

They also revealed something very interesting. The game has licensed Metallica music which is pretty awesome and will have it both, in the trailer tonight and also in the game itself.

The game will also feature a 20v20 Game mode that is chaotic and fun with maps that are sized appropriately so it doesn’t turn into a map that’s overcrowded or where it’s hard to find players.

Aside from this, we also know that when using KillStreaks in multiplayer, players will be able to use White Phsophouros, a deadly chemical weapon to kill their foes. If you’ve played Spec Ops: The Line, you know what this is.

We can’t confirm anything that the Reddit user posted but the trailer tonight will confirm whether or not the information they provided was true or not. It’s safe to say though that we’re extremely excited for this game and hope it can recapture the magic of the original two Modern Warfare titles.
