Free Fire: Best Guns To Use Part 2

Free Fire just like other battle royale games offers players over 40 weapons to choose from but not all weapons were made equal. Some guns give you a tactical advantage over your enemies. They also provide you with better options as to how to engage with your opponents. Read part one of this guide here.

If you like using Shotguns, then the M1014 is the best shotgun you’ll find in Free Fire. With its high damage, it is absolutely lethal at close range. It also has a decent rate of fire which can make quick work of your enemies without running a sweat. Additionally, it’s pretty easy to find on the battlefield, so even if you don’t normally use shotguns it will make for a viable weapon until you find other weapons on this list.

The AK47 is an assault rifle that needs no introduction at all. This is the favorite weapon of a lot of people because of its high damage. But one issue with this gun is its high recoil, so the best way to use it is with Level 3 attachments. Thanks to the recoil, you have a higher chance of taking headshots if you are used to the weapon, which is another reason why people love this gun.

The SCAR is also a great assault rifle with a high rate of fire. It can deal a lot of damage to your enemies but even this is best used with Level 3 attachments. However, using this is a little easier than the AK47, so you might be able to net kills more easily with the SCAR.

This is hands down the best SMG in Free Fire which is perfect for close-range combat. Thanks to its high rate of fire, it can easily shred through any number of enemies should they dare to come close to you. Its damage output is pretty good too. It’s very useful for all kinds of players and keeping it in your primary slot will make sure you don’t have to worry about close-range combat.

Free Fire: Best Guns To Use

Free Fire just like other battle royale games offers players over 40 weapons to choose from but not all weapons were made equal. Some guns give you a tactical advantage over your enemies. They also provide you with better options as to how to engage with your opponents. Read part two of this guide here.

The Groza is hands down the best assault rifle you’ll find in Free Fire. The sad part is, that you can only find it in airdrops, but if you do find it, go with it because it’s better than all the other assault rifles.

It has a high rate of fire, high damage, and very low recoil. So if you can get to the airdrop and loot it, by all means, do it because it will definitely be worth it.

FAMAS is another solid assault rifle whose damage is a little higher than the SCAR. Its rate of fire is pretty good too so if you can find this, we recommend it over the SCAR any day. It is also the only burst fire weapon in the game.

Due to its ability to one tap, the FAMAS has great accuracy and damage. However, In the right hands, the FAMAS is the best assault rifle in the game and possibly the best weapon in the game.

You won’t be able to find the M79 easily in the field, but in case you do, be prepared to literally blow your enemies away. Its damage is unsurprisingly very high, and using it is a piece of cake.

If you’re the only person left in your squad and you’re up against teams of 2 or more people, the M79 can be an absolute godsend. If you can use it well you’ll be able to take multiple people down with a single shot.

The AWM is the best Sniper Rifle in the game. So much so, that simply its name is enough to instill fear in your enemies. Finding it is not an easy task at all, but if you can manage to get your hands on it you should definitely use it because it has incredibly high damage output.

It can feel slow but a single shot of this gun can be enough to take your enemy down. So work on your aim and you’ll be killing left and right with the AWM in no time.

Could Free Fire Get Banned In India?

After the ban of 118 Chinese apps including PUBG Mobile, many are left wondering about the possibility of games like Free Fire also being banned by the government. Players have been looking towards alternative games such as COD Mobile, Free Fire, Fortnite, and many more to fill up that void left by PUBG. One of the major outliers here is definitely Free Fire.

There have been many reports of the game being considered for a ban and having connections to China. While in reality, it is highly unlikely for Free Fire to get banned in India.

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE GAME

The game is developed by a Vietnamese app development company called 111dots Studio and it is published worldwide by a Singapore-based organization called Garena. The current CEO of Garena Free Fire is Forrest Li who was born in China, however, he is currently a permanent citizen of Singapore.

However, it seems Tencent is one of the major stakeholders of Garena’s parent company is Sea Limited, which has its headquarters in Singapore. Previously, the Chinese conglomerate had a 39.7% share in Free Fire’s parent company while now it only has a 25.6% share in Sea Limited.

CAN FREE FIRE GET BANNED

The main reason for the government to ban an app is if its a Chinese origin app which is in suspicion of leaking user data to the Chinese government. In Free Fire’s case, one of its major stakeholders is a Chinese company such as Tencent who has seen many of its apps being banned.

Despite that, the actual development and publishing of the game are handled by 111dots Studio and Garena respectively both of which are not associated with the Chinese government.

COD Mobile vs Free Fire, Which One To Play?

After the ban on PUBG Mobile, players are trying to find a game to fill up the void left by the it. They are now looking towards alternative games such as COD Mobile, Free Fire, Fortnite, and many more. The clear outlier here is definitely COD Mobile and Free Fire but which one is for you.

BATTLE ROYALE

This is where both games are highly different as Free fire has a BR mode for 50 players whereas COD Mobile BR mode consists of 100 players. This results in highly different match dynamics as Free Fire offers instant matches lasting 10-15 minutes where player can get into the action straight away.

There’s also the matter of the no of maps available in the game. COD Mobile offers just a single battle royale map whereas Free Fire has three such maps like Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari.

GAME MODES

In terms of game modes COD Mobile has the upper hand as it offers a wide variety of game modes such as Front Line, Domination, Sniper Only, and Search and Destroy. There’s also a campaign mode which is coming in future along with a zombie mode which isn’t currently available but is expected to make its way to the game soon.

Free Fire on the other hand is mostly focused around Battle Royale although it does have Clash squad and Ranked mode. If you get bored of playing BR there’s not much option for you here whereas in COD Mobile there’s a game mode for everyone.

CHARACTERS

Both Free Fire and Call of Duty Mobile give you options to choose from different characters, but even within these there are quite a few differences.

Call of Duty Mobile has characters only in the Battle Royale mode. Each character has its own role, like the medic, scout, and the defender. These classes are available to everyone, and you can play using any class, depending on what play style you prefer.

Free Fire is a little different in this, the first major difference being that you start off with 2 free characters, and you can continue to unlock more by simply playing the game. Most of the remaining characters you’ll be able to buy using the in-game currency you earn by playing matches. The only issue is that there are a few characters that you can purchase only with diamonds, and for these diamonds, you have to spend real-life money, there’s no other way.

GRAPHICS

It is quite obvious that COD Mobile has better graphics than Free Fire but it also means that the game requires you to have a decent phone to run it. One can even say that COD Mobile graphics are on the same level as a PC game which certainly adds to the experience and gives better immersion.

PERFORMANCE

COD Mobile due to its resource intensive requirements needs a good quality phone to run it properly. Free Fire on the other hand can be played on nearly any smartphone due to its low requirements and hardly ever show signs of lagging and FPS drop.

REQUIREMENTS

Call of Duty Mobile

  • CPU Snapdragon 625 / 2GHz or higher
  • RAM 2GB (recommended 3GB for lag free experience)
  • Storage 1.03GB (2.6GB installed)

Free Fire

  • Almost any CPU
  • 1GB
  • 600MB (recommended 1.5GB)

Free Fire: Tips and Tricks

Garena Free Fire has emerged as a worthy competitor to PUBH with its fluid gameplay and smooth performance on basically any device you run it on. With over 500 million downloads, the game has seen an upward trajectory ever since its inception.

It has also established itself as a mobile esport too with various tournaments springing up across the globe. We host some of them too. You can check them out here.

In order to excel at the game one needs to keep a few basic things in mind which we will be covering in this article:-

Source: MrGuider

Loot Wisely – After dropping into the map always make sure that you find enclosed areas for looting and don’t loot out in the open. You can do this by choosing your drop location wisely. It’s very easy for enemies to take you out when you’re not in cover. Also, keep an eye out for good gear and even if it is something that you don’t use, be sure to mark it for your teammates as one of them may need it. This will make the whole loot stage of the game very efficient.

Source: YouTube

Settings and Sensitivity – As with any game, before you begin playing, make sure to choose the optimal settings for your device. If you’re running on a low end device, it is probably better to keep your gfx settings turned down to a minimum so as to improve performance. Keep your sensitivity according to your preference but be sure to not play with a very high sensitivity because it will make your aim less precise.

Source: YouTube

Use the Sniper – The snipers in Free Fire are very good at taking our enemies at range while also being fairly easy to use. Be sure to use the sniper once in a while to see whether you’re good with it. Sniping also improves your aim as it requires your shots to be precise. Using it more often will do wonders for your aim. You can practice effectively in solo mode with your preferred attachments.

Source: YouTube

Be constantly moving – No one likes campers but more than that, in a BR game like Free Fire, staying in one position for too long can jeopardize the whole match due to the rapid closing in of the ring which will force you to move. There may be enemies waiting for you at the edge of the ring and this will make their life a whole lot easier. Constantly changing your position also makes it difficult for enemies to guess where you are.

Source: Pinterest

Use vehicles – There are some players who are hesitant in using vehicles but they are really helpful when you want to catch up with the ring or simply running over enemy players. Try to use fully covered vehicles instead of bikes, as uncovered vehicles make you an easy target for enemy players.
