Hitman 2 Takes You to the Maldives in it’s Latest Update

Did you ever wish Agent 47 would get to take a vacation? Well, your weird wish has somewhat come true because Agent 47 gets to go the Maldives. But he has to kill people here as well.

This new map, Haven Island, will let you live out all your fantasies of going to a pristine island with crystal clear water so that you can relax and take out some of the scum that’s plaguing the world. Wait, what do you mean you’ve never thought about that?

Along with the Maldives, Hitman 2 is also getting a plethora of new Escalation missions.

September 5 / Escalation Contract / The Dalton Dissection

We’re going back to the bank with a bang. Brilliant.

The Dalton Dissection is a 3-stage Escalation Contract that has 47 starting with a restricted loadout, and cannot change disguise from the (lovable?) bank robber disguise. Expect this one to ramp up and fast. With new complications, targets and restrictions added, you’ll be bouncing around the bank as a bunny before you begin to believe it.

September 5 / Escalation Contract / The Covert Dispersal

If one Escalation Contract wasn’t enough for one day, we’ve got another one for you. This time; Whittleton Creek. This one revolves around the garden party.

Your mission is to take care of the undercover officers at the party. But please, try to do this in style. We don’t need you to become the biggest party pooper in town.

And those are just the two that start things off so pack your bags and get ready to fly across the world of Hitman for more assassinations, more disguises and more clever ways to do your job as the world’s best Hitman.

You can read more about the rest of the September Roadmap here.

HITMAN 2: The Bank, New Mission set in New York

HITMAN 2 – New York is a new sandbox location that takes Agent 47 to the New York branch of the Milton-Fitzpatrick investment bank. Wear new disguises and use new items to complete the mission and earn new unlocks that can be used in all locations.

Agent 47’s mission at the bank takes place on a rainy day in New York where an investigation at the bank is in full swing. He must follow the money and eliminate the bank’s director to complete his objectives.

This really well-made trailer showcases the various disguises and activities for Agent 47 while building up one of the targets of the mission who seems to be a snobby lady who thinks most people are beneath her and has a snide remark for Agent 47 who is in disguise wearing a sweater.

The trailer ends with Agent 47 replying to her remark by saying, “Everybody needs a hobby, Miss Savalas”

“Over the years, Savalas has also developed a refined disdain for the middle class, reducing customers to numbers on sheets of paper with no thought to the things she destroys with her constant ‘less is more’ approach to small and medium-sized businesses. Rumors of wanton gambling with client money and the bank’s finances are beginning to catch up to her and with the board of directors looking for a new CEO of Milton-Fitzpatrick, Savalas is eagerly covering her tracks, using any means necessary.”

This bank level arrives on 25th June and will be available as part of Expansion Pack 1 and will be made available to SIlver and Gold Editions of the game as well.

Top 10 Best PC Games of 2018 | GamingMonk’s Best of 2018

The PC market has always had games that are both visual treats and retro aesthetics. This year we had some really good games on PC that either showcased the power of the system or to showcase that there’s still some great indie games. Let’s take a look at our top 10 PC games of 2018 that we feel you should play on your PC.

  1. Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Lara Croft is back, and this time she’s brought the apocalypse with her. After accidentally starting the end of the world, Lara now has to track down the notorious Trinity organization to make sure they don’t get their hands on the artifacts that have the power to reshape the world.
  2. Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire

    Deadfire
is the sequel to Obsidian’s critically acclaimed RPG, Pillars of Eternity. It focuses on seafaring and island exploration via a ship. Crews can also be hired to look over them, and assist in ship combat. Class based gameplay returns, with each class having three optional sub-classes with unique skills.
  3. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Call of Duty has made a triumphant comeback, with boots on the ground multiplayer and Blackout is easily the best Battle Royale mode around right now.

  4. Battlefield V

RTX debacles aside, Battlefield V is a pretty enjoyable Battlefield game. Though it no longer retains the same strategic depth as Battlefield 3 & 4, it is definitely a big step up from Battlefield 1. There are some standout maps, the weapons feels great, and the game is a delight to look at, even without RTX.

  5. Hitman 2

Everyone’s favourite assassin is back with a vengeance. Not to spoil too much, but did you know you can kill people by placing a rake in their path? It’s genius, really. Also, to no one’s surprise, the first elusive target is none other than Sean Bean, so fun times galore.

  6. Return of the Obra Dinn

From the makers of Papers, Please comes another unique, impressive title in the form of a murder mystery. Playing as an insurance agent on an abandoned ship, your job is to piece together the story behind the disappearance of the crew. The visual style of the game is quite novel and refreshing, and so is the story and gameplay.

  7. Into The Breach

    Into The Breach
is an incredible turn-based strategy game, from the team behind FTL: Faster Than Light. The game is set in the far future where humanity fights against an army of giant monsters collectively called the Vek. To combat them, the player controls soldiers that operate giant mechs that can be equipped with a variety of weapons, armor, and other equipment. The game uses a turn-based combat system, allowing the player to coordinate the actions of their team in response to enemy moves and actions that serve to telegraph their attacks.
  8. Dead Cells

For people who like super hard games (alternatively, people who hate themselves), Dead Cells is an absolute must play. To put it simply, the game is a rogue-like metroidvania, with procedurally generated levels and impressive pixel art visuals. And brutal, unforgiving gameplay. Seriously, you’ll die a lot.
  9. Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come is a story driven RPG drenched in painstaking detail, though sometimes to the point of annoyance. It focuses a lot on historical accuracy, set in the medieval times in the kingdom of Bohemia. The visuals are jaw dropping, and you get complete choice over what gameplay style you want to follow. Also, it’s hard. Like, really hard.
  10. Forza Horizon 4

    Forza Horizon 4’s
take on the United Kingdom landscape is a breathtaking one. The open terrain, dynamic weather and the change of seasons all culminate in a memorable experience, making it the best racing game to come out this year.

So those were our picks for the best PC games of 2018. Did we miss anything? Let us know in the comments below.

Hitman 2 One-Versus-One Online Competitive Ghost Mode Announced

New Ghost Mode, 1-Versus-1 Competitive Multiplayer, Announced for Hitman 2

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive today announced the addition of competitive multiplayer for Hitman 2. Ghost Mode is a unique and brand-new take on 1-versus-1 online competition, putting players’ assassination skills to the ultimate test.

Agent 47 is the world’s deadliest assassin, and the only person who can match him in skill, stealth and execution is… himself. Therefore, Ghost Mode allows two players to compete against each other online, both as Agent 47, to assassinate the most targets in a match. At the start of each round, both players begin side-by-side and must race to take out the same targets faster and cleaner than their opponent, while utilizing weapons, items, outfits and ghost crate supply drops along the way to help accomplish the overall mission.

The unique twist with Ghost Mode in Hitman 2 is that players will simultaneously hunt targets while in the same location and can see a “ghost” version of their rival gamer to track progress against their own, but they exist in separate realities unaffected by the actions of their adversary. In Ghost Mode, the player who can outsmart, outplay and outkill their opponent by eliminating five targets first, will declare victory.

Ghost Mode will be available for the Miami location when Hitman 2 launches on November 13. Ghost Mode will subsequently become available for additional Hitman 2 locations, as well as other World of Assassination locations, post-launch.

Hitman 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and PC beginning November 13, 2018.
